019-سُوۡرَةُ مريم


كٓهيعٓصٓ .19:01١

  • Kaaf Ha Ya Ain Sād [Five Consonants of Arabic alphabet ( أبجدية عربية‎), all conjoined. Kaaf, Ain and Sād  have also above them ancillary glyph/prolongation sign/mark which changes the sound value of the letter to which it is added. It reflects that the Arabic language has letters and other marks, representing that its writing system is letter-diacritic combination based, resulting in the combination of sounds that form a syllable, rather than a single sound]

ذِكْرُ رَحْـمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبْدَهُۥ زَكَرِيَّآ .19:02٢

  • This is the narrative about the Mercy of your Sustainer Lord bestowed upon His sincere allegiant Zakaria: [alai'his'slaam] [19:02]

إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ نِدَآءٙ خَفِيّٙا .19:03٣

  • When he called upon his Sustainer Lord secretively. [prompted by reply of Syeda Maryam-3:38].[19:03]

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّـى وَهَنَ ٱلْعَظْمُ مِنِّى

  • He said, "My Sustainer Lord! It is true that my state is such that bones have weakened, taking strength away from me

وَٱشْتَعَلَ ٱلرَّأْسُ شَيْبٙا

  • And the head has glistened, reflecting stage of life agedly

وَلَمْ أَكُنۢ بِدُعَآئِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيّٙا .19:04٤

  • And I have never remained in my prayers to You, my Sustainer Lord, unblessed. [19:04]

وَإِ نِّـى خِفْتُ ٱلْمَوَٟلِـىَ مِن وَرَآءِى

  • And I have felt apprehensive of kinsfolk in situation after me

وَكَانَتِ ٱمْرَأَتِـى عَاقِرٙا

  • And [though] my wife has been infertile

فَهَبْ لِـى مِن لَّدُنْكَ وَلِيّٙا .19:05٥

  • Therefore, You do give me from Your grace an associate (son) [19:05]

يَرِثُنِى وَيَرِثُ مِنْ ءَالِ يَعْقُوبَۖ

  • He will inherit me and he will inherit from the family of Ya'qoob [alahissalam]

         Inheritance according to injunctions in Grand Qur’ān

وَٱجْعَلْهُ رَبِّ رَضِيّٙا .19:06٦

  • And do render him; my Sustainer Lord, a pleasing personality." [19:06]

يـٟزَكَرِيَّآ إِنَّا نُبَشِّـرُكَ بِغُلَٟمٛ ٱسْـمُهُۥ يَحْيَىٰ

  • "O Zakaria! Indeed Our Majesty are conveying you good news of a son, his name is Yahya

لَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُۥ مِن قَبْلُ سَـمِيّٙا .19:07٧

  • Our Majesty have not declared in aforetimes this cognition of name to anyone for his sake." [19:07]

قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّـىٰ يَكُونُ لِـى غُلَٟمٚ

  • He [Zakaria alai'his'slaam] said: "My Sustainer Lord! I am curious to know as to how a son will take existence for me in circumstances

وَكَانَتِ ٱمْرَأَتِـى عَاقِرٙا

  • When my wife has been known infertile

وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنَ ٱلْـكِـبَـرِ عِتِيّٙا .19:08٨

  • And while I have crossed the old age to its extremity?" [19:08]

قَالَ كَذَٟلِكَ

  • He the Exalted said, it will happen in this situation

قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَـىَّ هَيِّـنٚۚ

  • He the Exalted said, "This is the decision of your Sustainer Lord; that is quiet easy for Me to cause it happen;

وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَيْــٔٙا .19:09٩

  • Realize it [why not you considered before having asked] I had created you foretimes while you were immediately before not even a recognized object." [19:09]

قَالَ رَبِّۦ ٱجْعَل لِّـىٓ ءَايَةٙۚ

  • He (Zakaria [alai'his'slaam]) said: "My Sustainer Lord! For occasion of it do disclose- appoint for me some mark- clue of cognition."

قَالَ ءَايَتُكَ أَ لَّا تُكَلِّمَ ٱلنَّاسَ ثَلَٟثَ لَيَالٛ سَوِيّٙا .19:10١٠

  • He the Exalted told, "Your cognition mark is that you might not be able to verbally communicate with the people for three nights." [19:10]

فَخَرَجَ عَلَـىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلْمِحْرَابِ

  • Thereupon, [on having felt the sign occurred) he came out of the secluded chamber of Mosque towards his people

فَأَوْحَـىٰٓ إِلَيْـهِـمْ أَن سَبِّحُوا۟ بُكْرَةٙ وَعَشِيّٙا .19:11١١

  • Thereat, he communicated to them through gestures directing them to repetitively describe the Praises of Allah the Exalted at dawn and dusk." [19:11]

يـٟيَحْيَىٰ خُذِ ٱلْـكِـتَٟبَ بِقُوَّةٛۖ

  • [Promise was fulfilled, he was born] "O Yahya! You hold the Book with firmness".

وَءَاتَيْنَـٟهُ ٱلْحُكْـمَ صَبِيّٙا .19:12١٢

  • And Our Majesty gave him the faculty of distinguishing wisdom in infancy [19:12]

وَحَنَانٙا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَزَكَوٰةٙۖ

  • And softness from Our Grace and elevated stature

وَكَانَ تَقِيّٙا .19:13١٣

  • And he was persistently protected. [19:13]

وَبَرَّاۢبِوَٟلِدَيْهِ

  • And he was rightful in conduct with his mother and father

وَلَمْ يَكُن جَبَّارٙا عَصِيّٙا .19:14١٤

  • And he was never dictating by way of refuting their word. [19:14]

وَسَلَٟمٌ عَلَيْهِ يَوْمَ وُلِدَ وَيَوْمَ يَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ يُبْعَثُ حَيٙا .19:15١٥

  • And it was made known that tranquillity and salutations are upon him the day he was born, and the day he will die natural death and the Day he is revived as living one. [19:15]

وَٱذْكُرْ فِـى ٱلْـكِـتَٟبِ مَـرْيَـمَ إِذِ ٱنتَبَذَتْ مِنْ أَهْلِـهَا مَكَانٙا شَرْقِيٙا .19:16١٦

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] mention Maryam [Siddiqa] in the Book (Qur’ān text); when she purposely retired herself from her family members into the easterly location in house [19:16]

فَٱتَّخَذَتْ مِن دُونِـهِـم حِجَابٙا

  • Whereat she occupied a place obtaining partitioned seclusion apart from them (family).

فَأَرْسَلْنَآ إِلَيْـهَآ رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَـهَا بَشَـرٙا سَوِيّٙا .19:17١٧

  • Thereby, Our Majesty sent Our Messenger- Gibraa'iel [alai'his'slaam] towards her, thereat he self assumed appearance of a very decent human being for meeting her. [19:17]

 

قَالَتْ إِ نِّـىٓ أَعُوذُ بِٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ مِنكَ إِن كُنتَ تَقِيّٙا .19:18١٨

  • She (Maryan) on seeing a man enter in her privacy said, "I seek protection by reference of Ar'Reh'maan against harm from you, if you were endeavourer for salvation". [19:18]

قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۟ رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَٟمٙا زَكِيّٙا .19:19١٩

  • He replied, "I am only the Messenger of your Sustainer Lord to confirm to you the bestowing of the son, intellectually elevated-full of wisdom and understanding.. [19:19]

قَالَتْ أَ نَّـىٰ يَكُونُ لِـى غُلَٟمٚ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِى بَشَـرٚ

  • She argued, "I am curious to know as to how a male child would take existence for me in circumstances when a man has not touched me; [not being married]

وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيّٙا .19:20٢٠

  • And I have never been a debauch." [in human beings these are the two ways a child can born]". [19:20]

قَالَ كَذَٟلِكِ

  • He (Gibraa'iel [alai'his'slaam]) replied: "Exactly in the same circumstances it will happen as promised.

قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَـىَّ هَيِّـنٚۖ

  •  He (Gibraa'iel [alai'his'slaam]) further said, "Your Sustainer Lord has said that [quote] "It (causing her to give birth to a son in the state of without having been touched by a man) is quiet easy for Me to cause it happen

وَلِنَجْعَلَهُۥٓ ءَايَةٙ لِّلْنَّاسِ وَرَحْـمَةٙ مِّنَّاۚ

  • And the purpose of this unique birth unusual-to-human perception is that Our Majesty renders him (yet to be born Easa [alai'his'slaam]) an unprecedented sign illustrative for the people [to understand that Allah the Exalted is beyond the limitations of causality]. This demonstration is a Mercy from Our Grace

وَكَانَ أَمْرٙا مَّقْضِيّٙا .19:21٢١

  • And know it that he (yet to be born Easa [alai'his'slaam]) has been in the scheme of affairs a concluded event- an ordained reality." [19:21]

فَحَـمَلَتْهُ فَٱنْتَبَذَتْ بِهِۦ مَكَانٙا قَصِيّٙا .19:22٢٢

  • Accordingly she uplifted him (Easa son of Maryam) invisibly; thereby, she left along with him for a remote place. [19:22]

فَأَجَآءَهَا ٱلْمَخَاضُ إِلَـىٰ جِذْعِ ٱلنَّخْلَةِ

  • Then the pains of childbirth brought her towards the trunk of a female date-palm tree.

قَالَتْ يَٟلَيْتَنِى مِتُّ قَبْلَ هَـٰذَا وَكُنتُ نَسْيٙا مَّنسِيّٙا .19:23٢٣

  • She having given birth to child pensively cried, "I wish I were dead before this happening and I had become oblivion, the forgotten entity." [19:23]

           Episode about unprecedented Virgin-Birth

فَنَادَىٰـهَا مِن تَحْتِـهَآ أَ لَّا تَحْزَنِـى

  • Thereupon, he (Gibraa'iel [alai'his'slaam]) called her from her side that, "You should not grieve

 

قَدْ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحْتَكِ سَرِيّٙا .19:24٢٤

  • Your Sustainer Lord has rendered the water-stream as travelled beneath you (water level raised to ground surface in oasis where she was at that point of time) [19:24]

وَهُزِّىٓ إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ ٱلنَّخْلَةِ تُسَٟقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبٙا جَنِيّٙا .19:25٢٥

  • And you jerk the trunk of fruit-bearing palm-tree towards you; she would reciprocally drop upon you fresh ripe dates [19:25]

فَكُلِـى وَٱشْرَبِـى وَقَرِّى عَيْنٙاۖ

  • Thereupon, eat fresh dates, drink water and be tranquil, by looking [at your son]

فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ ٱلبَشَـرِ أَحَدٙا

  • Thereby, henceforth in case you come across with any known person

فَقُولِـىٓ إِ نِّـى نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ صَوْمٙا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ إِنسِيّٙا .19:26٢٦

  • Thereat, you say, "I have vowed to exercise refrain/restraint exclusively for Ar'Reh'maan,  therefore, I will not converse with any person today." [19:26]

فَأَتَتْ بِهِۦ قَوْمَهَا تَحْـمِلُهُۥۖ

  • Thereby, realizing and recalling the promise/word of Allah that the newly born son will talk to people, she came along with him (newly born Easa son of Maryam) to her people in the state that she was physically carrying him.

قَالُوا۟ يَٟمَرْيَـمُ لَقَدْ جِئْتِ شَيْــٔٙا فَرِيّٙا .19:27٢٧

  • They [on seeing her after long time lifting a newly born son] said, "O Maryam, of course you have come exposing an unexpected- improper thing [19:27]

يَٟٓأُخْتَ هَٟرُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ ٱمْرَأَ سَوْءٛ

  • O you the sister of Haruen, [it was not expected of you] the conduct of your father had not been illicit- morally bad

وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيّٙا .19:28٢٨

  • And nor your mother was ever debauch." [19:28]

فَأَشَارَتْ إِلَيْهِۖ

  • [in response to their ill conceived perception of debauchery reflected subtly in manner of being shocked] Thereat, she pointed them towards him (infant son)

قَالُوا۟ كَيْفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِـى ٱلْمَهْدِ صَبِيّٙا .19:29٢٩

  • They exclaimed,  "How can we conversequestion-answer with him who was lying in the mother's lap, a milk-sucking infant?" [19:29]

قَالَ إِ نِّـى عَبْدُ ٱللَّهِ

  • He (infant Easa [alai'his'slaam) spoke to them, "I am, in fact, the Allegiant- Subject of Allah the Exalted

ءَاتَىٰنِىَ ٱلْـكِـتَٟبَ وَجَعَلَنِـى نَبِيّٙا .19:30٣٠

  • He the Exalted has given me the Book, and He has declared me as the Chosen and Elevated Allegiant [19:30]

وَجَعَلَنِى مُبَارَكٙا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ

  • Moreover, He the Exalted has declared me securely established, safe and sound at whatever place I might be present as long as I am alive

وَأَوْصَٟنِى بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيّٙا .19:31٣١

  • Furthermore, He the Exalted has enjoined upon me regards performing Ass-sa'laat: Time Bound Protocol of Servitude and allegiance, and for paying Az-zakat: financial liability for uplift of society, as long I am alive. [19:31]

وَبَرَّاۢبِوَٟلِدَتِـى

  • And has declared-rendered me as rightful - dutiful in conduct with my mother.

وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِى جَبَّارٙا شَقِيّٙا .19:32٣٢

  • And He has not rendered me as harshly pervasive. [19:32]

وَٱلسَّلَٟمُ عَلَـىَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيّٙا .19:33٣٣

  • Moreover, tranquillity and safety is ensured upon me, the day I was born, and the day I am caused to die natural death, and the Day I am resurrected alive." [19:33]

ذَٟلِكَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَـرْيَـمَۚ

  • -- This the foretasted is Easa [alai'his'slaam], the son of Maryam [Siddiqa]

قَوْلَ ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ يَمْتُـرُونَ .19:34٣٤

  • The fulfilled/accomplished/established word/promise [given to Syeda Maryam before his birth], infallible statement about which people engage themselves inquisitively --. [19:34]

مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَـدٛۖ

  • It was never befitting to ascribe for Allah the Exalted regarding adopting someone of procreations as a son

سُبْحَٟنَهُۥٓۚ

  • He the Exalted is above such needs/support/weakness. Infinite Glory is for Him; His pleasure is the focus of all effort

إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرٙا

  • Subject to He the Exalted has finalized-decided about any matter, individual event:

فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن

  • Thereat, He merely expresses verbally for that affair, saying: "You become in evident-tangibly existing state."

فَيَكُونُ .19:35٣٥

  • In compliance thereof that (abstract but effected thing- matter - affair - person) takes existence in physical realm (which can be known- cognizable by others) --.  [19:35]

وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّـى وَرَبُّكُـمْ فَٱعْبُدُوهُۚ

  • [Reverting from parentheses to talk of newly born Easa) "And Allah the Exalted is my Sustainer Lord and the Sustainer Lord of you people. Therefore, you people be subservient and allegiant to Him alone

هَـٰذَا صِرَٟطٚ مُّسْتَقِيـمٚ .19:36٣٦

  • This (exclusive servitude and allegiance) is the High Road: that leads safely and stably to the destination of peace and tranquillity." [19:36]

فَٱخْتَلَفَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ مِنۢ بَيْنِـهِـمْۖ

  • Thereby peoples of certain identities purposely remained in a state of disagreement amongst themselves.

فَوَيْلٚ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَـرُوا۟ مِن مَّشْهَدِ يَوْمٛ عَظِيـمٛ .19:37٣٧

  • Thereby, woe/regret is the upshot for those who persistently refused to accept/believe upon witnessing/confronting the great day. [19:37]

أَسْـمِعْ بِـهِـمْ وَأَبْصِرْ يَوْمَ يَأْتُونَنَاۖ

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] listen and visualize what is being stated about them for the day they will be brought before Our Majesty for accountability

لَـٰكِنِ ٱلظَّٟلِمُونَ ٱلْيَوْمَ فِـى ضَلَٟلٛ مُّبِيـنٛ .19:38٣٨

  • But today the distorters/unjust people are in manifest heedlessness. [19:38]

وَأَنذِرْهُـمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْحَسْـرَةِ إِذْ قُضِىَ ٱلۡأ​َمْـرُ

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] admonish them about the Day of Awareness and Regret which they will feel when the matter would have been decided/concluded

وَهُـمْ فِـى غَفْلَةٛ

  • While today they are preferring to remain in state of neglectfulness

Root: غ ف ل

وَهُـمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ .19:39٣٩

  • And thus they do not believe in the verdict given in Qur’ān. [19:39]

إِنَّا نَـحْنُ نَرِثُ ٱلۡأَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْـهَا

  • Indeed We will own the Earth and whoever exists on it

وَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ .19:40٤٠

  • And they will be forced/turned for accountability towards Our Majesty.  [19:40]


وَٱذْكُرْ فِـى ٱلْـكِـتَٟبِ إِبْرَٟهِيـمَۚ

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] mention Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam] in the Book.

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقٙا نَّبِيّٙا .19:41٤١

  • Beyond doubt he was always absolutely truthful; he was the Elevated and Chosen Distinct Allegiant-Subject of Allah the Exalted. [19:41]

إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ

  • When he said to his uncle:

يَٟٓأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِى عَنكَ شَيْــٔٙا .19:42٤٢

  • "O My uncle! What for you worship/are allegiant for that which is neither capable of listening nor vision and nor that benefits you by averting anything harmful from you [19:42]

يَٟٓأَبَتِ إِ نِّـى قَدْ جَآءَنِـى مِنَ ٱلْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ

  • O My uncle! it is true that to me has since come from the domain of knowledge that which did not come to you

فَٱتَّبِعْنِىٓ أَهْدِكَ صِرَٟطٙا سَوِيّٙا .19:43٤٣

  • Therefore, you follow me in letter and spirit, I will certainly guide you on the even course [19:43]

يَٟٓأَبَتِ لَا تَعْبُدِ ٱلشَّيْطَٟنَۖ

  • O My uncle! you should not be allegiant to Shai'taan

إِنَّ ٱلشَّيْطَٟنَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ عَصِيّٙا .19:44٤٤

  • The fact about Shai'taan is that he were the rebutter for the word-command of Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted [19:44]

يَٟٓأَبَتِ إِ نِّـىٓ أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٚ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ

  • O My uncle! I am afraid that the infliction might befall upon you by the command of Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted

فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَٟنِ وَلِيّٙا .19:45٤٥

  • Whereby you might permanently become companion for Shai'taan (in the Hell-prison)." [19:45]

قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنْ ءَالِـهَتِى يَٟٓإِبْرَٟهِيـمُۖ

  • He (Uncle of Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam]) replied, "Why are you not well wishing and desiring, rather advocating shunning my various miscellaneous iela'aha: godheads, O you Iebra'heim?

لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ لَأَرْجُـمَنَّكَۖ

  • I swear, should you not hold yourself desist publicly shunning my godheads, I will but certainly inflict punishment of stoning you.

وَٱهْجُرْنِـى مَلِيّٙا .19:46٤٦

  • [I know you will not compromise] You migrate away from me for a long period." [19:46]

قَالَ سَلَٟمٌ عَلَيْكَۖ

  • He-Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam] said, "I wish a state of safety, security and tranquillity is caused to veil upon you

سَأَسْتَغْفِرُ لَكَ رَبِّـىٓۖ

  • I will soon at my own behest seek from my Sustainer Lord forgiveness for you.

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِـى حَفِيّٙا .19:47٤٧

  • Truly, He the Exalted has always been Gracious to me. [19:47]

وَأَعْتَزِلُـكُـمْ وَمَا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ

  • And I am leaving you people and those you people call upon apart from Allah the Exalted

وَأَدْعُوا۟ رَبِّـى عَسَـىٰٓ أَ لَّآ أَكُونَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّـى شَقِيّٙا .19:48٤٨

  • And I will pray to my Sustainer Lord, may be that I will not be unblessed/disappointed in response to prayer to my Sustainer Lord." [19:48]

فَلَمَّا ٱعْتَزَلَـهُـمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ

  • Thereupon, [after the episode of failure of their attempt to burn him alive] when he had left them and what they worshipped/were allegiant to apart from Allah the Exalted

وَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسْحَٟقَ وَيَعْقُوبَۖ

  • Our Majesty had gifted to him Ies'hauqe [[alai'his'slaam]] and Ya'qoob [[alai'his'slaam]  as unsolicited gift-21:72]

وَكُلّٙا جَعَلْنَا نَبِيّٙا .19:49٤٩

  • And Our Majesty had declared them all as Elevated and Chosen Distinct Allegiants. [19:49]

وَوَهَبْنَا لَـهْـم مِّن رَّحْـمَتِنَا

  • And Our Majesty bestowed for them from Our Grace

وَجَعَلْنَا لَـهُـمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٛ عَلِيّٙا .19:50٥٠

  • And Our Majesty have declared for them par excellence reputation/mention of truthfulness. [19:50]


وَٱذْكُرْ فِـى ٱلْـكِـتَٟبِ مُوسَـىٰٓۚ

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] mention Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] in the Book.

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مُخْلَصٙا وَكَانَ رَسُولٙا نَّبِيّٙا .19:51٥١

  • He was certainly the Chosen sincere, and he was a messenger, the Elevated and Distinct Allegiant-Subject of Allah the Exalted. [19:51]

وَنَٟدَيْنَٟهُ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلۡأَيْمَنِ وَقَرَّبْنَٟهُ نَجِيّٙا .19:52٥٢

  • And Our Majesty had called him when he was by the right side of At-Tur: Mountain range of Sinai and We had brought him nearer reclusively. [19:52]

  • ۔اور ہم جناب نے انہیں(موسیٰ علیہ السلام)سلسلہ کو طور کے دائیں جانب ایک مقام پر پکارا تھا اور انہیں اپنے قریب کر لیا تھا، علیحدگی میں گفتگو کرنے کے لئے۔

Root: ط و ر

وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥ مِن رَّحْـمَتِنَآ أَخَاهُ هَٟرُونَ نَبِيّٙا .19:53٥٣

  • And Our Majesty appointed for him by Our Grace his brother Haroon [alai'his'slaam], the Elevated and Chosen Allegiant-Subject, [as Messenger to accompany him]. [19:53]


وَٱذْكُرْ فِـى ٱلْـكِـتَٟبِ إِسْـمَٟعِيلَۚ

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] mention Iesmail [alai'his'slaam] in the Book  

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صَادِقَ ٱلْوَعْدِ

  • He was certainly truthful in honouring and fulfilling the promise

وَكَانَ رَسُولٙا نَّبِيّٙا .19:54٥٤

  • And he was the Messenger, and was the Elevated and Chosen Distinct Allegiant-Subject of Allah the Exalted. [19:54]

وَكَانَ يَأْمُـرُ أَهْلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ

  • And he ( Iesma'eile [alai'his'slaam]) used to enjoin his household for performing Ass-sa'laat: Time Bound Protocol of Servitude and Allegiance and for paying Az-zaka'at: financial liability for economic uplift of society.

وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ مَرْضِيّٙا .19:55٥٥

  • And he was appreciated and approved person in the judgment of his Sustainer Lord. [19:55]

وَٱذْكُرْ فِـى ٱلْـكِـتَٟبِ إِدْرِيسَۚ

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] mention Idries [alai'his'slaam] in the Book

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقٙا نَّبِيَّٙا .19:56٥٦

  • Beyond doubt he was always absolutely truthful; he was the Elevated and Chosen Distinct Allegiant-Subject of Allah the Exalted [19:56]

وَرَفَعْنَٟهُ مَكَانٙا عَلِيّٙا .19:57٥٧

  • And Our Majesty had elevated him to exalted place. [19:57]

أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْـهِـم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّــۦنَ

  • The aforementioned by name were the members of the group-galaxy of Chosen and distinctly exalted sincere Allegiantsupon whom Allah the Exalted showered blessings

مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءَادَمَ وَمِمَّنْ حَـمَلْنَا مَعَ نُوحٛ

  • Genetically they were from some of the progeny of Adam [alai'his'slaam]; and of some of them whom We had uploaded in the ship along with Noah [alai'his'slaam]

وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبْرَٟهِيـمَ وَإِسْرَٟٓءِيلَ

  • And of the progeny of Iebra'heim [alai'his'slaam] and Iesraa'eel [Yaqoob alai'his'slaam].

وَمِمَّنْ هَدَيْنَا وَٱجْتَبَيْـنَآۚ

  • And he whom Our Majesty had guided and We had personally chosen.

إِذَا تُتْلَـىٰ عَلَيْـهِـمْ ءَايَٟتُ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ خَرُّوا۟ سُجَّدٙا وَبُكِيّٙا۩ .19:58٥٨

  • When the Aa'ya'at: verbal passages of the Book of Ar'Reh'maan were recited upon them they kneeled down prostrating, and eyes overflowing with tears. [19:58]  [Please prostrate-it helps getting nearer to Allah the Exalted]

فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِـمْ خَلْفٌ أَضَاعُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ ٱلشَّهَوَٟتِۖ

  • Thereafter, a generation succeeded in times after their death (progeny of Iesraa'eel). They discarded the As-sa'laat: Time Bound Protocol of Servitude and allegiance (Institutionalized by Iebra'heim alai'his'slaam). And they purposely pursued selfish desires, lusts and conjectural fascinations.

فَسَوْفَ يَلْقَونَ غَيّٙا .19:59٥٩

  • Thereby, soon will they confront devastating result [19:59]

إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٟلِحٙا

  • Except the one who had recognized/repented his earlier conduct and accepted/believed and thenceforth conducted perfectly

فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ

  • Then for this reason, being believer and doer of good deeds, they are the people who will enter the Paradise.

وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ شَيْــٔٙا .19:60٦٠

  • -- And they will not be met with injustice, nothing of the sort --. [19:60]

جَنَّٟتِ عَدْنٛ ٱلَّتِـى وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنُ عِبَادَهُۥ بِٱلْغَيْبِۚ

  • Gardens of Eden, Paradise; these are which Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted has promised to His allegiants-subjects, while remaining invisibly presen in their sight.

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ وَعْدُهُۥ مَأْتِيّٙا .19:61٦١

  • The fact about Him the Exalted is that His Promise has surely to accomplish. [19:61]

لَّا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيـهَا لَغْوٙا إِلَّا سَلَٟمٙاۖ

  • They will not listen therein any meaningless and baseless utterances, except sound statement.

وَلَـهُـمْ رِزْقُهُـمْ فِيـهَا بُكْرَةٙ وَعَشِيّٙا .19:62٦٢

  • And for them is their sustenance supplies therein at morning and evening. [19:62]

تِلْكَ ٱلْجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِـى نُورِثُ مِنْ عِبَادِنَا مَن كَانَ تَقِيّٙا .19:63٦٣

  • This is the Paradise the ownership of which Our Majesty give one of Our created subjects who remained mindful and heedful avoiding unrestrained conduct in reverence and fear of Allah the Exalted. [19:63]

وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلَّا بِأَمْرِ رَبِّكَۖ

  • O You the Messenger! We the Angels do not descend at our discretion but descend by the command of your Sustainer Lord.

لَـهُۥ مَا بَيْـنَ أَيْدِينَا وَمَا خَلْفَنَا وَمَا بَيْـنَ ذَٟلِكَۚ

  • The encompassment of that whatever was destined in time-line in front of us [past] and that whatever is destined in time-line on our back [future] and that whatever is destined in-between it [present] is exclusively for Him the Exalted

وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيّٙا .19:64٦٤

  • And the Sustainer Lord of you is never ever forgetful. [19:64]

رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتِ وَٱلۡأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَـهُـمَا

  • Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted is the Sustainer Lord of the Skies and the Earth and whatever exists between the two

فَٱعْبُدْهُ وَٱصْطَبِـرْ لِعِبَٟدَتِهِۦۚ

  • Therefore, you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] do continue calling/inviting people to be subservient-allegiant to Him: Ar'Reh'maan and remain steadfast in demonstrating servitude for Him

هَلْ تَعْلَمُ لَهُۥ سَـمِيّٙا .19:65٦٥

  • Do you know any parallel of Personal Name for Him the Exalted?" [19:65]

وَيَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَٟنُ أَءِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوْفَ أُخْرَجُ حَيّٙا .19:66٦٦

  • Know about general attitude that people say questioningly, "Is it plausible that when I am dead, I would be brought out alive?" [19:66]

أَوَلَا يَذْكُرُ ٱلْإِنسَٟنُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَٟهُ مِن قَبْلُ

  • Is it because Man recalls not that Our Majesty had created him in earlier time-line

وَلَمْ يَكُ شَيْئٙا .19:67٦٧

  • While he was then not an object worth recognition and mention? [19:67]

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحْشُـرَنَّـهُـمْ وَٱلشَّيَٟطِيـنَ

  • The response is, by your Sustainer Lord, of course Our Majesty will gather them and the Shiyateen: devils [on resurrection]

ثُـمَّ لَنُحْضِرَنَّـهُـمْ حَوْلَ جَهَنَّـمَ جِثِيّٙا .19:68٦٨

  • Afterwards, they will be brought in the boundary of Hell-Prison, bounded together. [19:68]

ثُـمَّ لَنَنزِعَنَّ مِن كُلِّ شِيعَةٛ أَيُّـهُـمْ أَشَدُّ عَلَـى ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ عِتِيّٙا .19:69٦٩

  • Afterwards, We will certainly drag him out, from every group of them, who was staunchly rebellious to an extreme against Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted. [19:69]

ثُـمَّ لَنَـحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِٱلَّذِينَ هُـمْ أَوْلَـىٰ بِـهَا صِلِيّٙا .19:70٧٠

  • Afterwards [in response to demands of people] Our Majesty certainly knows the best about those who are most deserving, with regard to parching with her (heated hell-prison). [19:70]

وَإِن مِّنكُـمْ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَاۚ

  • And there is none amongst you people but who will be visiting her (Hell-Prison, on turn)

كَانَ عَلَـىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتْمٙا مَّقْضِيّٙا .19:71٧١

  • It (making everyone a visitor) were inevitably concluded affair, incumbent upon your Sustainer Lord. [19:71]

ثُـمَّ نُنَجِّـى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوا۟

  • Afterwards, Our Majesty will save-raise those who endeavoured to attain salvation

وَّنَذَرُ ٱلظَّـٟلِمِيـنَ فِيـهَا جِثِيّٙا .19:72٧٢

  • And Our Majesty will leave behind the distorters, unjust and evil mongers; they would be put in her (Hell-Prison) bounded together. [19:72]

وَإِذَا تُتْلَـىٰ عَلَيْـهِـمْ ءَايَٟتُنَا بَيِّنَٟتٛ

  • Know it, when Our Aaya'at: Verbal Passages of Qur’ān, characteristically mirroring information, facts and knowledge in exegetical manner, are narrated to them, word by word

قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَـرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟

  • Those who disavowed said to people about those who have believed:

أَىُّ ٱلْفَرِيقَيْـنِ خَيْـرٚ مَّقَامٙا وَأَحْسَنُ نَدِيّٙا .19:73٧٣

  • "Which of the two groups is better in position and status held, and is best in flourishing and following?" [19:73]

وَكَمْ أَهْلَـكْنَا قَبْلَـهُـم مِّن قَرْنٛ

  • And Our Majesty has annihilated many a civilizations before them in human history

هُـمْ أَحْسَنُ أَ ثَـٟثٙا وَرِءْيٙا .19:74٧٤

  • They (the annihilated civilizations) were better established in rich furnishings - durables; and in appearance. [19:74]

قُلْ مَن كَانَ فِـى ٱلضَّلَـٰلَةِ فَلْيَـمْدُدْ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنُ مَدّٙاۚ

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] pronounce, "Anyone who is absorbed in deliberate neglectful indifference, thereby, Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted will certainly permit for him- let him stretch in neglectful indifference, as an extension [granted for a period]

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوْا۟ مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا ٱلعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ

  • Till such time when they would have seen what is being promised to them, either the infliction before the Last Day or the Last Moment

فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ شَـرّٚ مَّكَانٙا وَأَضْعَفُ جُندٙا .19:75٧٥

  • Thereat, they will thenceforth know with certainty who is in liquefying-irritating state by way of placement, and is weakest, with regard to supportive people." [19:75]

وَيَزِيدُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱهْتَدَوْا۟ هُدٙىۗ

  • And Allah the Exalted enhances those who have guided their selves aright, improving insight and clarity of guidance (Qur’ān).

وَٱلْبَٟقِيَٟتُ ٱلصَّٟلِحَٟتُ خَيْـرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابٙا وَخَيْـرٚ مَّـرَدّٙا .19:76٧٦

  • Take note, the persisting perfect-righteous deeds are better in the judgment of your Sustainer Lord as source of return, and are better in terms of hopefulness. [19:76]

أَفَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى كَفَـرَ بِـٔ​َايَـٟتِنَا

  • Have you then noticed/come across him who has refused accepting Aa'ya'at: Verbal Passages of Our Book

وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَـنَّ مَالٙا وَوَلَـدٙا .19:77٧٧

  • And confidently said: "Certainly, I will be given wealth and children." [19:77]

أَطَّلَعَ ٱلْغَيْبَ أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ عَهْدٙا .19:78٧٨

  • [why he is so sure] Has he peeped into the unseen? Or has he obtained a commitment from Ar'Reh'maan? [19:78]

كَلَّاۚ سَنَكْتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ

  • No, neither he knew about unseen nor has obtained a promise; We will keep recording in writing what he keeps saying

وَنَمُدُّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ مَدّٙا .19:79٧٩

  • And Our Majesty will prolong for him duration of infliction, extended span.

وَنَرِثُهُۥ مَا يَقُولُ

  • And Our Majesty will hold him accountable for what he says

وَيَأْتِينَا فَرْدٙا .19:80٨٠

  • And he will appear before Our Majesty, individually-alone. [19:80]

وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِـهَةٙ

  • And they have purposely adopted non-living object as various iela'aha: godheads, apart from Allah the Exalted

لِّيَكُونُوا۟ لَـهُـمْ عِزّٙا .19:81٨١

  • Thinking that they might be for them a source of domination/protective umbrella. [19:81]

كَلَّاۚ سَيَكْـفُـرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِـهِـمْ

  • No, soon they will deny about their worshiping rituals

وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيْـهِـمْ ضِدّٙا .19:82٨٢

  • And they (the supposed godhead) will be for them opponents. [19:82]

أَ لَمْ تَرَ أَنَّـآ أَرْسَلْنَا ٱلشَّيَٟطِيـنَ عَلَـى ٱلْـكَـٟفِرِينَ

  • Have you not noticed  that Our Majesty have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, they excite them, incitingly. [19:83]

تَؤُزُّهُـمْ أَزّٙا .19:83٨٣

  • They (Devils) keep exciting them to an extent of persistent incitement. [19:83]

فَلَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَيْـهِـمْۖ

  • Therefore you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam don't respond to their scornful demand] should not hurry towards them [leave them in their amusement of worldly life]

إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَـهُـمْ عَدّٙا .19:84٨٤

  • Our Majesty are indeed counting for them the number, statistically [of days left]. [19:84]

يَوْمَ نَحْشُـرُ ٱلْمُتَّقِيـنَ إِلَـى ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ وَفْدٙا .19:85٨٥

  • Know it, Our Majesty will order on the Day of Judgment to bring towards Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted; with protocol of a delegation coming to call upon the Sovereign Lord, those who endeavour remaining heedful and cautiously avoid unrestrained conduct keeping respect and reverence for the Messenger of Allah the Exalted embedded in their hearts [19:85]

وَنَسُوقُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِيـنَ إِلَـىٰ جَهَنَّـمَ وِرْدٙا .19:86٨٦

  • And Our Majesty will order to drive the Convicts towards Hell-Prison, in the manner thirsty cattle are driven towards water place [19:86]

لَّا يَمْلِـكُونَ ٱلشَّفَٟعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ عَهْدٙا .19:87٨٧

  • They do not hold the authority for intercession. The exception to this negation of authority for intercession is only for the One who had obtained the prior Permission and Authority from the Grace of Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted as a commitment. [19:87]

وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنُ وَلَـدٙا .19:88٨٨

  • Take note, They (Elders-Religious elite of earlier people) said; "Ar'Reh'maan has purposely adopted so and so as son". [19:88]

لَّقَدْ جِئْتُـمْ شَيْــٔٙا إِدّٙا .19:89٨٩

  • You the Messenger admonish them [18:04] "Indeed you people have put forth - conjectured an abominable commotional proposition. [19:89]

تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ

  • The Skies are almost nearing to self asunder for the first time by its effect

وَتَنشَقُّ ٱلۡأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ ٱلْجِبَالُ هَدّٙا .19:90٩٠

  • And the Earth cleaves herself; and the mountains fall with devastating bang [19:90]

أَن دَعَوْا۟ لِلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ وَلَـدٙا .19:91٩١

  • That they have proclaimed for Ar'Reh'maan a son. [19:91]

وَمَا يَنۢبَغِى لِلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَـدٙا .19:92٩٢

  • And that adopting someone as a son is not befitting for Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted. [19:92]

إِن كُلُّ مَن فِـى ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتِ وَٱلۡأَرْضِ إِلَّآ ءَاتِـى ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ عَبْدٙا .19:93٩٣

  • Whoever is in the Skies and the Earth comes to Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted as but a bondman-subject. [19:93]

لَّقَدْ أَحْصَٟهُـمْ وَعَدَّهُـمْ عَدّٙا .19:94٩٤

  • Indeed He the Exalted has encircled them; and He the Exalted has enumerated them, numerically. [19:94]

  • متنبہ رہو؛یہ حقیقت ہے کہ انہوں(الرحمٰن ذوالجلال و الاکرام)نے انہیں(آسمانوں اور زمین میں ذی حیات)قیود کے اندر پابند کیا ہوا ہے،اور انہوں نے انہیں شمار کیا ہوا ہے،اعداد کی صورت۔

وَكُلُّهُـمْ ءَاتِيهِ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٟمَةِ فَرْدٙا .19:95٩٥

  • And all of them will come to Him the Exalted on the Day of Rising, individually. [19:95]

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٟلِحَـٟتِ

  • Know the fact about those who have heartily believed in the Messenger [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] and Qur’ān and performed moderate righteous deeds [as directed in the Book]

سَيَجْعَلُ لَـهُـمُ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنُ وُدّٙا .19:96٩٦

  • Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted will render-insert for them emotion of mutual love and affection". [19:96]

فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّـرْنَٟهُ بِلِسَانِكَ

  • Thereby, for reason of its universality and permanence, Our Majesty have certainly rendered it (Qur’ān) facilitative for reading and comprehending by transcribing it in the mother tongue - dialect of you (Muhammad [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]).

لِتُبَشِّـرَ بِهِ ٱلْمُتَّقِيـنَ

  • The purpose of rendering it facilitator is that you the Messenger might give glad tidings-guarantee on the strength of it (Qur’ān) to those who sincerely endeavour to attain salvation

وَتُنْذِرَ بِهِۦ قَوْمٙا لُّـدّٙا .19:97٩٧

  • And so that you the Messenger may admonish with it (Qur’ān) the excessively argumentative people. [19:97]

وَكَمْ أَهْلَـكْنَا قَبْلَـهُـم مِّن قَرْنٛ

  • And Our Majesty have annihilated many a civilizations before them in human history

هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْـهُـم مِّنْ أَحَدٛ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَـهُـمْ رِكْزَاۢ .19:98٩٨

  • Do you perceive movement of even a single one of them or do you listen for them a whisper. [they have been made tales] [19:98]

  • Ta Ha [20:01]

  • عربی زبان کے حروف ھجاء [تہجی،ابجد] یکجا کر کے "ط" اور "ہ"۔

مَآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْقُرْءَانَ لِتَشْقَىٰٓ .20:02٢

  • Our Majesty has not compositely sent the Qur’ān upon you the Messenger [ Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]  with the intention that you might stress yourself [20:02]

  • ۔اے رسول کریم ہم جناب نے آپ(ﷺ)کو مجتمع مدون انداز میں قرءان مجید اس لئے نہیں بھیجا تھا کہ آپ مشقت و جاں فشانی میں پڑیں۔

إِلَّا تَذْكِرَةٙ لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰ .20:03٣

  • Objective of its revelation is only to serve as Reference - Frequented source for him who is apprehensively cautious feeling awe of Allah the Exalted [20:03]

  • ۔اس نزول کی علت یہ ہے کہ زمان و مکان میں ہر اس شخص کے لئے نصیحت حاصل کرنے کا منبع رہے جواللہ تعالیٰ سے بغیر بصارتوں میں ہوتے ہوئے مرعوب رہتا ہے۔

تَنزِيلٙا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَرْضَ وَٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتِ ٱلْعُلَـى .20:04٤

  • It (Qur’ān) has been sent to people gradually and successively in easy to comprehend composition by Him the Exalted Who had created the Earth and the upper-higher Skies: six above Sky of Earth [20:04]

  • یہ ان جناب کی جانب سے آسان فہم تدوین میں توقف توقف سے لوگوں تک بتدریج پہنچایا گیا ہے جنہوں نے کرہ ارض کوتخلیق فرمایا اور آسمان دنیا کے اوپر کے آسمانوں(چھ)کو تخلیق فرمایا تھا۔

ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنُ عَلَـى ٱلْعَـرْشِ ٱسْتَوَىٰ .20:05٥

  • He is Ar'Reh'maan, He the Exalted ascended to the Supreme Sovereign Seat - Throne [beyond Skies of universe] [20:05]

  • ۔وہ جناب الرَّحمٰن ذوالجلال والاکرام ہیں جو اعلیٰ آسمانوں کے پار مزیدبلندی پر عرش/یکتا تخت اقتدار پر تشریف فرما ہیں۔

لَهُۥ مَا فِـى ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتِ وَمَا فِـى ٱلۡأَرْضِ

  • Whatever exists in the Skies and whatever exists in the Earth are subservient-dependant-subjects for Him the Exalted

  •  وہ تمام جو کچھ آسمانوں میں موجود ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں موجود ہے ان جناب کے لئے نگیں ہیں۔

وَمَا بَيْنَـهُـمَا وَمَا تَحْتَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ .20:06٦

  • And so are whatever exists in between the two:Earth and Earth's Sky and between each two Skies; and what exists beneath the soil. [20:06]

  • ۔اور وہ بھی جو ان دونوں کے مابین موجودات ہیں اور وہ جو سطح زمین سے نیچے موجود ہیں۔

وَإِن تَجْهَرْ بِٱلْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّـرَّ وَأَخْفَى .20:07٧

  • Know it, if you raise your voice while speaking [it is unnecessary] because He the Exalted indeed knows the low-volume whispers and the more closely kept hidden secrets. [20:07]

  • ۔اور اگر اللہ تعالیٰ سےآپ(ﷺ)بلند آواز سے  اپنی بات کو بیان کریں تو اس کی ضرورت نہیں کیونکہ ان کے متعلق یہ حقیقت ہے کہ وہ مدھم سرگوشی اور جو اپنے اندر خفیہ رکھا جاتا اسے بخوبی جانتے ہیں۔

Root: س ر ر

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ

  • Realize and recognize it about Allah the ExaltedNone at all in miscellany of iela'aha: godheads - deities that are uncritically admired, adorned and worshiped is alive or organizes, administers or sustains others except He the Exalted.

  • اللہ تعالیٰ کے متعلق یہ حقیقت جان لو—ان تمام کے تمام میں جنہیں معبود تصور کیا جاتا ہے کوئی ذی حیات نہیں،سوائے ان (اللہ تعالیٰ) کے۔

Thesis statement of Qur’ān

لَهُ ٱلۡأَسْـمَآءُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ .20:08٨

  • The names attributing the sublime connotation of exacting balance, proportion, equilibrium, virtue, admirable, grandeur, just, majesty, absoluteness, and beauty are appropriate and exclusive for Him the Exalted. [20:08]

  • بدرجہ اتم خصوصیات،توازن و حسن،کبریائی کو بیان کرتے اسماء صرف اور صرف ان (الرحمٰن ذالجلال والاکرام)کے لئے مختص اور شایان شان ہیں۔


وَهَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَـىٰٓ .20:09٩

  • And has the episode - incident of Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] reached you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam]?  [20:09]

  • ۔اور آپ(ﷺ)تسدیق فرمائیں کیا آپ کو موسیٰ(علیہ السلام)کو پیش آنے والے واقع کی اطلاع مل چکی ہے۔

إِذْ رَءَا نَارٙا فَقَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ

  • When [travelling after having left city of Madyan, by the side of At-Tur] he had seen fire whereby he said to his accompanying family:

  • ۔جب انہوں نے ایک مقام پر آگ کو دیکھا تو انہوں نے اپنے ہم سفر اہل خانہ سے کہا:

ٱمْكُثُوٓا۟ إِ نِّـى ءَانَسْتُ نَارٙا لَّعَلِّـىٓ ءَاتِيكُـم مِّنْـهَا بِقَبَسٛ

  • "You people [wife + at least two children with one certainly male, both less than nine years of age] stay here. Indeed I have seen and perceived fire; I am going there, perhaps I will bring for you from there fire balls (it indicates that it was a cold night of winter)

  • ۔"تم لوگ یہیں ٹھہرو۔یہ حقیقت ہے کہ میں نے دور آگ کے موجود ہونے کو محسوص کیا ہے۔ اس لئے میں وہاں جا رہا ہوں کہ ممکن ہے میں اس میں سے سلگتے کوئلے تمہارے پاس لے آؤں۔

Root: ق ب س;  م ك ث

أَوْ أَجِدُ عَلَـى ٱلنَّارِ هُدٙى .20:10١٠

  • Or I will get some guiding information at the place of the fire." [20:10]

  • یا آگ پر پہنچ کر میں راستے کے متعلق رہنمائی حاصل کر لوں"۔

فَلَمَّآ أَتَىٰـهَا نُودِىَ يَٟمُوسَـىٰ .20:11١١

  • Thereupon, the moment he arrived at fire point [reclusively] he was loudly called, "O Mūsā [20:11]

  • ۔اہل خانہ سے الگ ہو کر جوں ہی اس کے پاس پہنچے تو انہیں پکارا گیا" اے موسیٰ!

إِ نِّـىٓ أَنَا۟ رَبُّكَ فَٱخْلَعْ نَعْلَيْكَۖ

  • Indeed Me, I am the Sustainer Lord of you; therefore, being in My presence you remove both your shoes: sit at ease.

  • ۔توجہ سے اس حقیقت کو سن؛ میں تیرا رب تجھ سے مخاطب ہوں؛چونکہ میرے حضور ہو اس لئے اپنے جوتے اتار کر آرام سے زمین پر بیٹھیں۔

إِنَّكَ بِٱلْوَادِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ طُوٙى .20:12١٢

  • Know it, you are presently located in the sanctified valley, Tuwa. [20:12]

  • ۔اس مقام کے متعلق جان لو،آپ اس وقت مقدس وادی کی سرزمین پر ہیں،طوی اس کا نام ہے۔

Root: ط و ى;  ق د س

وَأَنَا ٱخْتَـرْتُكَ فَٱسْتَمِعْ لِمَا يُوحَـىٓ .20:13١٣

  • And I have chosen you, therefore, carefully listen what is being verbally communicated. [20:13]

  • ۔اور میں نے آپ کو عوام الناس پر برتری کے لئے چن لیا ہے،اس لئے اس کے لئے ہمہ تن گوش ہوں جو ابھی آپ کو بتایا جانے لگا ہے۔

إِنَّنِىٓ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۟ فَٱعْبُدْنِـى

  • Indeed Me, I am Allah; None at all in [the imaginatively assumed] miscellany of iela'aha: deities that are uncritically admired, adorned and worshipped has unchangeable continued existence except My Majesty. Since I am Absolute Lord, Therefore, you continue to be subservient - subject - allegiant to Me

  • ۔انہوں نے توجہ سے  یہ سنا"میں اللہ تعالیٰ ہوں،وہ تمام جنہیں  معبود تصور کیا اور کہا جا رہا ہے ان میں سے کوئی غیر متغیر ثبات و دوام کا حامل نہیں سوائے میرے؛چونکہ میں معبود مطلق ہوں اس لئے آپ بااظہار میری بندگی  کرتے رہیں ؛۔

وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِكْرِىٓ .20:14١٤

  • And You [Mūsā alai'his'slaam] organize - make people stand for As'salat: Time Bound Protocol of Servitude and allegiance for My remembrance. [20:14]

  • ۔اور آپ استقلال و استقامت اور منظم طریقے سے صلوٰۃ کی ادائیگی کا انتطام کریں میرے ذکر کو عام کرنے کے لئے۔

إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِيَةٌ

  • Indeed the [determined terminating] Last Moment is certainly approaching

  • ۔یہ حقیقت ہے کہ دنیاوی حیات کی مدت کی اختتامی ساعت پہنچ رہی ہے۔

Root: س و ع

أَكَادُ أُخْفِيـهَا لِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسِۭ بِمَا تَسْعَىٰ .20:15١٥

  • I have decided to keep it secret for rewarding individually every person for the effort he undertakes. [20:15]

  • ۔میں نے اس(ساعت)کے وقوع پذیر ہونے والے لمحے کو اپنے تک خفیہ رکھنا ہے تاکہ ہر شخص کو اس کا صلہ دیا جائے جس کے لئے اس نے کوشش کی۔

Root: س ع ى;  ك و د

فَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْـهَا مَن لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِـهَا

  • Since it will remain tightly held secret, therefore one should not henceforth attempt averting you about its mention who believes not about her (Last Moment)

  • ۔چونکہ اس بات نے اصل لمحے تک خفیہ رہنا ہے اس لئے وہ شخص جو ساعت آخر کو مانتا ہی نہیں آپ کو اس کے متعلق متنبہ کرنے سے نہ روک سکے۔

وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ فَتَـرْدَىٰ .20:16١٦

  • And he kept following his fascinations, personal self, vested interests, and conjectures. Therefore warn your audience that listening him and ignoring her you might ruin yourself. [20:16]

  • ۔اور اس شخص نے اپنی خود پرستانہ خواہشات و مفادات کی پیروی کی ہے؛اس لئے اپنے مخاطب کو بتا دیں کہ اگر ایسے شخص کی باتوں میں آ کر اس ساعت سے تو غافل ہوا تواپنا کباڑہ کرے گا۔

Root: ر د ى


وَمَا تِلْكَ بِيَمِينِكَ يَٟمُوسَـىٰ .20:17١٧

  • And what is this held in your right hand, O Mūsā?" [20:17]

  • ۔اور یہ کیا ہے جو آپ نے اپنے  دائیں ہاتھ میں تھام رکھی ہے ، اے موسیٰ"

قَالَ هِىَ عَصَاىَ أَتَوَكَّؤُا۟ عَلَيْـهَا

  • He said, "This is my stick, I lean upon her

  • ۔انہوں(موسیٰ علیہ السلام)نے جواب دی"یہ میری چھڑی ہے۔میں اس پر ٹیک لگا لیتا ہوں۔

Root: ع ص و

وَأَهُشُّ بِـهَا عَلَـىٰ غَنَمِى

  • And with her I break down leaves upon my sheep

  • ۔اور اس کو استعمال کرتے ہوئے اپنی بھیڑوں پر پتے جھاڑتا ہوں۔

Root: غ ن م

وَلِـىَ فِيـهَا مَـَٔارِبُ أُخْرَىٰ .20:18١٨

  • And she has other instrumental functions for my benefit". [20:18]

  • ۔اور اس کے علاوہ کئی موقع محل کی نسبت سے اس کے استعمالات ہیں جو میرے لئے فائدہ مند ہیں"۔

قَالَ أَ لْقِهَا يَٟمُوسَـىٰ .20:19١٩

  • He the Exalted said, "Throw her in front, O Mūsā." [20:19]

  • انہوں(اللہ تعالیٰ)نے کہا"آپ اسے اپنے سامنے زمین پر پھینک دیں، اے موسیٰ"۔

فَأَ لْقَىٰـهَا فَإِذَا هِىَ حَيَّةٚ تَسْعَىٰ .20:20٢٠

  • In compliance as soon he threw her in front of him, she was suddenly a snake crawling. [20:20]

  • تعمیل حکم میں انہوں(موسیٰ علیہ السلام)نے اسے اپنے  سامنےزمین پر پھینک دیا۔پھینکے جانے پر جب وہ زمین پر بچھ گئی تو اچانک وہ رینگتی ہوئی کوبرا سانپ تھی۔

Root: س ع ى

قَالَ خُذْهَا وَلَا تَخَفْۖ

  • [He became afraid and ran away without looking behind, he was asked to turn back-28:31] He the Exalted said, "Hold her and you should not be afraid

  • (ڈر سے بھاگ جانے اور وہیں واپس بلا لئے جانے پر۔القصص۔31)انہوں نے ارشاد فرمایا"آپ اسے (کوبرا سانپ)تھام لیں۔اور آپ کو ڈرنا نہیں چاہیے۔

سَنُعِيدُهَا سِيـرَتَـهَا ٱلۡأُولَـىٰ .20:21٢١

  • Our Majesty will just revert her (cobra snake) to her earlier demeanor. [20:21]

  • ۔ہم جناب تھوڑی ہی دیر میں اسے (کوبرا سانپ) پلٹا دیں گے، اس کی پہلے والی کردار/طاہری برتاؤ کی حالت میں۔

 Root: ع و د س ى ر

وَٱضْمُمْ يَدَكَ إِلَـىٰ جَنَاحِكَ تَخْرُجْ بَيْضَآءَ مِنْ غَيْـرِ سُوٓءٛ ءَايَةٙ أُخْرَىٰ .20:22٢٢

  • And take your hand after entering it in your neckband towards your axilla - armpit, its palm will come out as pure shining white without spot; it is another unprecedented display - sign [20:22]

  • اور اپنے ہاتھ کو گریبان میں ڈال کراپنی بغل میں ضم کریں۔باہر نکالنے پر اس کی ہتھیلی  سفید چمکتی حالت میں ہو گی،ہر قسم کے داغ دھبے سے منزا۔یہ دوسری ناقابل تصور،سائنسی توجیح عینی شہادت بطور سند اور برھان ہے۔

لِنُرِيَكَ مِنْ ءَايَٟتِنَا ٱلْـكُـبْـرَىٰ .20:23٢٣

  • This demonstration is for the purpose that Our Majesty would show you the great display in the Miscellany of Our Existents - Physical realm indicating the Setter of sciences - Causality. [20:23]

  • ۔یہ ابتدائیہ ہے تا کہ ہم جناب آپ کی آنکھوں کوہمارے ترتیب دئیے عناصر فطرت میں نسبتاً بڑی شہادت کا نظارہ کرائیں گے جو ہمارے قدیر ہونے کی تصدیق کرے گی۔

ٱذْهَبْ إِلَـىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ .20:24٢٤

  • You go to Fir'aoun (Pharaoh). Indeed he has over-brimmed in transgression." [20:24]

  • آپ فرعون کی جانب روانہ ہوں۔حقیقت یہ ہے کہ سرکشی کے قابل درگزر پیمانے سے  وہ باہر ہو گیا ہے۔

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشْرَحْ لِـى صَدْرِى .20:25٢٥

  • He (Mūsā alahissalam) prayed, "My Sustainer Lord! Do expand/keep content and tranquil for me the chest/heart of me [20:25]

وَيَسِّـرْ لِـىٓ أَمْرِى .20:26٢٦

  • And do render my job - assignment easy going [20:26]

وَٱحْلُلْ عُقْدَةٙ مِّن لِّسَانِى .20:27٢٧

  • And You the Exalted do liquefy-dissolve the concentration-knot - clot removing away the impediment in my tongue that hampers eloquence [20:27]

يَفْقَهُوا۟ قَوْلِـى .20:28٢٨

  • So that they comprehend my verbal statements [20:28]

وَٱجْعَل لِّـى وَزِيرٙا مِّنْ أَهْلِـى .20:29٢٩

  • And do appoint for me as minister from my family [20:29]

هَٟرُونَ أَخِـى .20:30٣٠

  • Haroon, my brother. [20:30]

ٱشْدُدْ بِهِۦٓ أَزْرِى .20:31٣١

  • You the Exalted do reinforce with him my strength. [20:31]

وَأَشْرِكْهُ فِـىٓ أَمْرِى .20:32٣٢

  • And associate him in my assignment - job [20:32]

كَىْ نُسَبِّحَكَ كَثِيـرٙا .20:33٣٣

  • So that being in company We may repetitively narrate Your praises extensively [20:33]

وَنَذْكُرَكَ كَثِيـرٙا .20:34٣٤

  • And we may recall and mention You quite often. [20:34]

إِنَّكَ كُنتَ بِنَا بَصِيـرٙا .20:35٣٥

  • Indeed You have always been watching us". [20:35]

قَالَ قَدْ أُوتِيتَ سُؤْلَكَ يَٟمُوسَـىٰ .20:36٣٦

  • He the Exalted replied, "Indeed your request has been acceded to O Mūsā". [20:36]


وَلَقَدْ مَنَنَّا عَلَيْكَ مَـرَّةٙ أُخْرَىٰٓ .20:37٣٧

  • And indeed Our Majesty had conferred upon you a favour at an earlier occasion: [20:37]

  • اور اس حقیقت کو بھی جان لیں؛ ہم نے ایک بار پہلے بھی احسان کیا تھا:

Root: م ر ر;  م ن ن

إِذْ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَـىٰٓ أُمِّكَ مَا يُوحَـىٰٓ .20:38٣٨

  • When Our Majesty had verbally conveyed to your mother that which was communicated to her: [20:38]

  • ۔جب ہم نے آپ کی والدہ صاحبہ کی جانب لفظی پیغام(وحی)بھیجا جو انہیں سنایا جا رہا تھا:

أَنِ ٱقْذِفِيهِ فِـى ٱلتَّابُوتِ فَٱقْذِفِيهِ فِـى ٱلْيَـمِّ

  • That, "Place him in the chest and then place it in the water reservoir - river Nile

  • کہ" آپ اسے(اپنے نومولود بیٹے موسیٰ کے لئے خطرہ بھانپنے پر)ایک کھلے لکڑی کے تابوت میں لٹا دیں۔ایسا کر لینے پر اسے(تابوت)دریا نیل میں بہا دیں۔

Root: ق ذ ف

فَلْيُلْقِهِ ٱلْيَـمُّ بِٱلسَّاحِلِ يَأْخُذْهُ عَدُوّٚ لِّـى وَعَدُوّٚ لَّهُۥۚ

  • Thereby, the River would cast it on the bank; he who is antagonist for Me and antagonist for him would adopt - take possession of him."

  • ۔بہا دینے پر دریائے نیل اسے محل کے قریبی ساحل پر ڈال دے گا۔وہ جو میرے لئے اور اس کے لئے حریفانہ سوچ رکھتا ہے اسے(بیٹا موسیٰ)اٹھا لے گا"۔

Root: س ح ل

وَأَلْقَيْتُ عَلَيْكَ مَحَبَّةٙ مِّنِّى وَلِتُصْنَعَ عَلَـىٰ عَيْنِىٓ .20:39٣٩

  • And meanwhile I caused lovingly impression upon you for charming from My grace; and so that you are reared under My watch [20:39]

إِذْ تَمْشِىٓ أُخْتُكَ فَتَقُولُ هَلْ أَدُلُّـكُـمْ عَلَـىٰ مَن يَكْـفُـلُهُۥۖ

  • When your sister was following, thereby. (subsequent to your not sucking milk of any wet-nurse) she was telling them: "May I lead you people towards him who could rear him?"

فَرَجَعْنَٟكَ إِلَـىٰٓ أُمِّكَ كَىْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُـها وَلَا تَحْزَنَۚ

  • Thereby, Our Majesty returned you [fulfilling Our promise to her] to your mother for cooling her eyes and not to let her grieve.

وَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسٙا فَنَجَّيْنَٟكَ مِنَ ٱلْغَمِّ وَفَتَنَّٟكَ فُتُونٙاۚ

  • And you killed a person whereby We rescued you from the disturbing situation and We subjected you to troubles - difficulties in liquefying manner.

فَلَبِثْتَ سِنِيـنَ فِـىٓ أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ

  • Then you lived for years amongst the people of city Madyan.

ثُـمَّ جِئْتَ عَلَـىٰ قَدَرٛ يَٟمُوسَـىٰ .20:40٤٠

  • Afterwards, you have reached to the measure - point in time [for appointment as Messenger] O Mūsā [20:40]

وَٱصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِى .20:41٤١

  • And I have prepared you for My Self - to act as Messenger - Spokesperson. [20:41]

ٱذْهَبْ أَنتَ وَأَخُوكَ بِـٔ​َايَـٟتِى وَلَا تَنِيَا فِـى ذِكْرِى .20:42٤٢

  • You go, you and your brother, equipped with My unprecedented displays - signs; and you both should not slacken in My remembrance." [20:42]

  • ۔آپ جائیں،آپ اور آپ کے بھائی ،عینی مشاہدہ  کے لئے میری شہادتوں (آیات/معجزات ) کی مصاحبت میں  جوتصور، تجربہ، سائنسی توجیح سے ماورائے اِدراک  ہوتے ہوئے اس حقیقت کی جانب  واضح رہنمائی کریں گی  کہ من جانب اللہ  سند اور برھان ہیں۔اور آپ دونوں میرا ذکر کرنے میں سستی نہ کریں۔

ٱذْهَبَآ إِلَـىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ .20:43٤٣

  • [when both two had met, they were directed] "You both go to Fir'aoun (Pharaoh), Indeed he has over brimmed in transgression. [20:43]

  • "آپ  دونوں فرعون کی جانب روانہ ہوں۔حقیقت یہ ہے کہ سرکشی کے قابل درگزر پیمانے سے  وہ باہر ہو گیا ہے۔

Root: ط غ ى

فَقُولَا لَهُۥ قَوْلٙا لَّيِّنٙا لَّعَلَّهُۥ يَتَذَكَّرُ أَوْ يَخْشَىٰ .20:44٤٤

  • Thereat, say to him expressing softly and gently, giving him chance of self admonition or he becomes apprehensively cautious".  [20:44]

  • ۔اس کے دربار میں پہنچ جانے پر آپ دونوں اس کے لئے پیغام دے دیں،،نرم لیجے کے انداز میں بیان کرتے ہوئے،اس سے ممکن ہے کہ ازخود نصیحت لے سکے یا ممکن ہے کہ سراسیمہ احساس کے ساتھ محتاط ہو جائے"۔


قَالَا رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ أَن يَفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَآ أَوْ أَن يَطْغَىٰ .20:45٤٥

  • They submitted, "Our Sustainer Lord! Indeed we feel apprehensive that he might misbehave with us or he might transgress." [20:45]

  • ۔انہوں(موسیٰ اور ھارون علیہماالسلام)نے کہا"ہمارے رب!حقیقت یہ ہے کہ ہمیں خدشہ ہے کہ وہ ہم سے بدتمیزی سے پیش آئے یاآپے سے باہر ہو"۔

Root: ط غ ى

قَالَ لَا تَخَافَـاۖ

  • He the Exalted told, "You both should not be apprehensive.

  • ۔انہوں(اللہ تعالیٰ)نے فرمایا"آپ دونوں کو گھبرانے کی ضرورت نہیں۔

إِنَّنِى مَعَكُمَآ أَسْـمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ .20:46٤٦

  • Indeed I am omnipresent with both of you, I will be listening and watching." [20:46]

  • یقیناً میں تم دونوں کے ساتھ ہوں گا، میں سن اور دیکھ رہا ہوں گا۔

فَأْتِيَاهُ فَقُولَآ إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ

  • Therefore, you both go to him whereby on reaching there you say, "Indeed We are the Messengers of your Sustainer Lord

  • ۔اس طرح بے خوف و خدشہ دونوں اس کے پاس جاؤ'وہاں شاہی دربار میں پہنچ کر فرعون سے مخاطب ہو کرکہنا"یہ حقیقت ہے کہ ہم دونوں رسول ہیں جو آپ کے رب کا حکم نامہ لے کر آئے ہیں۔

فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٟٓءِيلَ

  • ۔اس کی تعمیل کرتے ہوئے آپ بنی اسرائیل کو ہمارے ساتھ روانہ کر دیں۔

وَلَا تُعَذِّبْـهُـمْۖ

  • And meanwhile you should not torment them.

  • ۔اور اس دوران انہیں اذیت میں مبتلا کرنے سےآپ کو اجتناب کرنا چاہئیے۔

قَدْ جِئْنَٟكَ بِـٔ​َايَةٛ مِّن رَّبِّكَۖ

 
  • Indeed we have come to you with an unprecedented display - sign as token of proof from your Sustainer Lord

  • ۔۔ہم آپ  کے پاس عینی مشاہدہ  کے لئے ایسی شہادت (آیت/معجزہ )کے ساتھ آئے ہیں        جوآپ کےتصور،تجربہ، سائنسی توجیح سے ماورائے اِدراک  ہوتے ہوئے اس حقیقت کی جانب  واضح رہنمائی کرنے والی ہے کہ یہ آپ لوگوں کے رب کی جانب سے  سند اور برھان ہے۔

وَٱلسَّلَٟمُ عَلَـىٰ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلْـهُدَىٰٓ.20:47٤٧

  • Be mindful,  peace - tranquility - safety is ensured only upon him one who followed the Guidance. [20:47]

  • ۔یہ بات ذہن نشین رہے کہ سلامتی کی ضمانت اس شخص پر مستوجب ہے جس نے رب العالمین کے ہدایت نامے پر خوش دلی سےمن و عن عمل کیا۔

إِنَّا قَدْ أُوحِـىَ إِلَيْنَآ أَنَّ ٱلْعَذَابَ عَلَـىٰ مَن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّـىٰ .20:48٤٨

  • Indeed it has verbally been communicated to us that the punishment is due upon him who contradicted and turned away from the Guidance." [20:48]

  • یہ بھی حقیقت ہے کہ ہماری جانب زبانی(وحی)پیغام بھیجا گیا ہے کہ سزا  کا اطلاق اس شخص پر ہو گا جس نے ہدایت نامے کو جھٹلایا اور ازخود اغماض برتا"۔

قَالَ فَمَن رَّبُّكُـمَا يَٟمُوسَـىٰ .20:49٤٩

  • He (Fir'aoun/Pharaoh) said, "Then who is the Sustainer Lord of you both, O Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]". [20:49]

  • اس(فرعون )نے کہا"پھریہ تو بتائیں کہ آپ دونوں کے رب کون ہیں،اے موسیٰ"

قَالَ رَبُّنَا ٱلَّذِىٓ أَعْطَىٰ كُلَّ شَـىءٛ خَلْقَهُۥ ثُـمَّ هَدَىٰ .20:50٥٠

  • He (Mūsā alai'his'slaam) said: "He the Exalted is Our Sustainer Lord Who has imparted shape and dimensions to every thing of His creation. Afterwards the completion of intermediary processes, He the Exalted prescribed regulation - information code for its course of conduct, proceeding and management. [20:50]

  • انہوں(موسیٰ علیہ السلام)نے کہا"ہمارے رب وہ ہیں جنہوں نے ہر ایک شئے کو جسے انہوں نے تخلیق کیا ہے ہر حوالے سے انفرادیت عنایت فرمائی ہے،بعد ازاں اس کو مقصد تخلیق کے مطابق  انہوں نے ہدایت دی ہے۔

قَالَ فَمَا بَالُ ٱلْقُرُونِ ٱلۡأُولَـىٰ .20:51٥١

  • He (Fir'aoun/Pharaoh, interrupting) said, [Referring to statement that infliction is upon the one who contradicted and turned away from the Guidance-20:48] "Then what is the fate-condition of generations that have passed?" [20:51]

  • اس نے(فرعون قطع کلام کرتے ہوئے)کہا’’اچھا تو پہلے گزری ہوئی نسلوں کا انجام/احوال کیا ہے؟‘‘

قَالَ عِلْمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّـى فِـى كِتَٟبٛۖ

  • He (Mūsā alai'his'slaam) said, "Its knowledge is recorded and saved in a book that is with my Sustainer Lord

  • انہوں(موسیٰ علیہ السلام)نے جواب دیا’’ان (پچھلی نسلوں )کے متعلق تمام معلومات /احوال اس کتاب میں مندرج ہیں جو میرے رب کے پاس محفوظ ہے۔

لَّا يَضِلُّ رَبِّـى وَلَا يَنسَى .20:52٥٢

  • My Sustainer Lord is neither ever unmindful - neglectful, nor ever let any thing unnoticed." [20:52]

  • میرے رب نہ تو کبھی کسی بھی جانب سے غافل ہوتے ہیں اور نہ کبھی کسی معاملے میں لاپراوہ/لا تعلق ہوتے ہیں۔

ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَـكُـمُ ٱلۡأَرْضَ مَهْدٙا

  • He the Exalted is the One Who has rendered the Earth plain, smooth and soft like child's bed especially for you people

  • وہ جناب وہ ہیں جنہوں نے خصوصی طور پرتم لوگوں کے لئے زمین کوبچھونے کی مانند ہمواربنا دیا۔

Root: م ھ د

وَسَلَكَ لَـكُـمْ فِيـهَا سُبُلٙا

  • And He the Exalted had run within her paths/passages for travel especially for you people

  • ۔اور ان جناب نے خصوصی طور پر تم لوگوں کی خاطر اس میں  سفر کےراستے رکھ دئیے،

Root: س ل ك

وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٙ

  • Moreover, He the Exalted (Your Sustainer Lord) had dropped water in one go (in measured quantity-23:18) from the Sky.

  • اوران جناب(تمہارے رب)نے آسمان سے پانی کو (متعین مقدار ۱۸:۲۳)آسمان سے یکبارگی نازل فرمایا تھا۔

فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٟجٙا مِّن نَّبَاتٛ شَتَّىٰ .20:53٥٣

  • Thereby with it (water) Our Majesty have sprouted - produced various species - couples of herbs - plants [20:53]

  • ۔اس کے برس جانے پر ہم جناب نے اس کے الصاق سے  زمین سےجوڑے نکال دئیے،انواع و اقسام کی نباتات  کے۔

Root: ش ت ت;  ن ب ت

كُلُوا۟ وَٱرْعَوْا أَنْعَٟمَكُـمْۗ

  • You people eat the produce of the Earth and pasture your cattle - herbivore mammals.

  • ۔خود کھاؤ اور اپنے مویشیو کو چارہ کھلاؤ۔

إِنَّ فِـى ذَٟلِكَ لَءَايَٟتٛ لِّأُو۟لِـى ٱلنُّـهَىٰ .20:54٥٤

  • Indeed signs - pointers are manifest in foretasted facts reflecting the Divine Providence and Will evidently for the people of intellect and wisdom. [20:54]

  • یقینا ان  عناصر فطرت کے عینی مشاہدہ میں  ایسی شہادتیں ہیں   جوفلسفہ توحید (معبود مطلق)کی جانب رہنمائی /اشارہ کرنے والی ہیں  خاص کر ان لوگوں کے لئے جوجذبات سے منزہ رہتے ہوئے حقیقت اور مقصد ِشئے کو سمجھنے کی صلاحیت رکھنےوالے ہیں۔

مِنْـهَا خَلَقْنَٟكُـمْ وَفِيـهَا نُعِيدُكُمْ

  • Our Majesty have created you people beginning with some elements of her (Earth); and Our Majesty shall return you people in her

  • ہم جناب نے تم لوگوں کواس (زمین)کے اجزا سے ابتدا کرتے ہوئے تخلیق کیا ہے اور ہم جناب تم لوگوں کو اسی کے اندر لوٹا دیں گے۔

Root: ع و د

وَمِنْـهَا نُخْرِجُكُـمْ تَارَةٙ أُخْرَىٰ .20:55٥٥

  • And Our Majesty will bring you out of her (Earth), last - final-outflow - life. [20:55]

  • ۔اور ہم جانب تم لوگوں کو اس کے اندر سے خارج کر دیں گے،آخری وقت۔


وَلَقَدْ أَرَيْنَٟهُ ءَايَٟتِنَا كُلَّهَا

  • And indeed Our Majesty had shown him (Fir'aoun/Pharaoh) Our unprecedented displays -signs, all [nine] of them

  • ۔یہ حقیقت ہے کہ ہم جناب نے اسے(فرعون) ہماری شہادتوں (آیات/معجزات )کا عینی مشاہدہ کرایا تھا،تمام کی تمام نو  عددکا  جو اس کےتصور، تجربہ، سائنسی توجیح سے ماورائے اِدراک  ہوتے ہوئے  ہماری جانب سے   سند اور برھان تھیں۔

فَكَذَّبَ وَأَبَـىٰ .20:56٥٦

  • Whereupon he (Fir'aoun/Pharaoh) contradicted and demurred. [20:56]

  • دیکھ کر یقین کر لینے کے باوجود اس نے انہیں جھٹلا دیا،اور اس نے تعمیل حکم کو اپنے شایان شان نہیں سمجھا،اپنے وقار اورخود پرستی کے منافی سمجھا۔

قَالَ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتُخْرِجَنَا مِنْ أَرْضِنَا بِسِحْرِكَ يَٟمُوسَـىٰ .20:57٥٧

  • He said, [supporting the opinion of his confidants] "Have you come to us with the motive to drive us out from our country with your illusory tricks - magic, O Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] [20:57]

  • ۔پہلی شہادت(چھڑی کا سانپ بننا)کو دیکھ لینے پر اس(فرعون)نے کہا"کیا تو ہمارے پاس اس مقصد سے آیا ہے کہ ہمیں اپنی سلطنت سے اپنے جادو کے ذریعے نکال دے، اے موسیٰ۔

Root: س ح ر

فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّكَ بِسِحْرٛ مِّثْلِهِۦ

  • In response, certainly we will come to you with illusory tricks - magic similar to this of yours.

  • ۔اس لئے اس کا توڑ کرنے کے لئے ہم بھی تیرے پاس اس کے جیسا جادو کا مظاہرہ جلد لے کر آئیں گے۔

Root: س ح ر

فَٱجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ مَوْعِدٙا

  • Therefore, appoint between us and between you a time and place

  • ۔اس لئے تو ہمارے  اور تیرے مابین کوئی وقت اور مقام کوبطور وعدہ مقرر کر لے۔

لَّا نُخْلِفُهُۥ نَـحْنُ وَلَا أَنتَ مَكَانٙا سُوٙى .20:58٥٨

  • We will not deviate from it, we and nor you, to be at the same place". [20:58]

  • ۔ہم اس کی خلاف ورزی نہیں کریں گے؛ہم اور نہ تو؛اس مقام پر موجود ہونے میں"

قَالَ مَوْعِدُكُمْ يَوْمُ ٱلزِّينَةِ وَأَن يُحْشَـرَ ٱلنَّاسُ ضُحٙـى .20:59٥٩

  • He (Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]) said, "The appointed time for you people is the day of the festival and that the people are gathered in the forenoon." [20:59]

  • ۔انہوں(موسیٰ علیہ السلام)نے کہا'تم لوگوں کے وعدے کا دن آنے والے تہوار کا دن ہے اور یہ کہ لوگوں کودوپہر کو اکھٹا کر لیا جائے"۔

Root: ض ح و

فَتَوَلَّـىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فَجَمَعَ كَيْدَهُۥ ثُـمَّ أَتَـىٰ .20:60٦٠

  • Thereat, Fir'aoun (Pharaoh) retired from Levee, then organized his strategy; afterwards he came. [on the appointed date when all known magicians were brought to his presence] [20:60]

  • یہ سن کر فرعون فوراًمجلس سے اٹھ کر چلا گیا؛ الگ ہو کر اپنے معتمدین کے ساتھ اپنی حکمت عملی کو ترتیب دیا۔بعد ازاں انتظامات اور جادوگروں کو اکٹھا کر لینے پر دربار میں آیا۔

قَالَ لَـهُـم مُّوسَـىٰ وَيْلَـكُـمْ لَا تَفْتَـرُوا۟ عَلَـى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبٙا فَيُسْحِتَكُـم بِعَذَابٛۖ

  • Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] said to them (the magicians), "Woe is for you people; you should not fabricate attributing to Allah the Exalted a falsehood whereby He the Exalted might destroy you with punishment

Root: س ح ت

وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنِ ٱفْتَـرَىٰ .20:61٦١

  • And indeed he is abased whoever fabricated falsehood." [20:61]

فَتَنَٟزَعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَهُـم بَيْنَـهُـمْ

  • [They were taken aback realizing that a magician can never say this since very foundation of illusory trick is falsehood] Thereby, they disputed in their matter - demonstration of magic trick amongst themselves

وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ .20:62٦٢

  • And held discussions reclusively. [20:62]

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَـٰذَانِ لَسَٟحِرَٟنِ يُرِيدَانِ أَن يُخْرِجَاكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُـم بِسِحْرِهِـمَا

  • [Noticing reluctance on their part] They (the confidants of Fir'aoun) said to them, "Indeed these two are certainly mere magicians, they (two) intend to drive you people out from your Land with their magic tricks

Root: س ح ر

وَيَذْهَبَا بِطَرِيقَتِكُـمُ ٱلْمُثْلَـىٰ .20:63٦٣

  • And that they may take away your exemplary civilization [20:63]

فَأَجْـمِعُوا۟ كَيْدَكُمْ ثُـمَّ ٱئْتُوا۟ صَفّٙاۚ

  • Therefore, you people collectively organize your strategy - plan; afterwards you people come consolidated/in one consecutive line [with no mutual differences]

وَقَدْ أَفْلَحَ ٱلْيَوْمَ مَنِ ٱسْتَعْلَـىٰ .20:64٦٤

  • And indeed he would succeed today who aspired superiority." [20:64]

قَالُوا۟ يَٟمُوسَـىٰٓ إِمَّآ أَن تُلْقِىَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَ لْقَىٰ .20:65٦٥

  • They (the magicians after being reassured that they were in competition with two magicians-20:63] said, "O Mūsā! Whether it will be you to throw - demonstrate or we become the first for demonstration?"[20:65]

قَالَ بَلْ أَ لْقُوا۟ۖ

  • He said, "No, you people throw - demonstrate to public [whatever you demonstrate]"

فَإِذَا حِبَالُـهُـمْ وَعِصِيُّـهُـمْ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ مِن سِحْرِهِـمْ أَنَّـهَا تَسْعَىٰ .20:66٦٦

  • Thereby, they performed, suddenly their ropes and sticks were becoming an image to him, by their illusory trick [thrown in such manner/equation and timing] as if they were a snake moving. [20:66]

فَأَوْجَسَ فِـى نَفْسِهِۦ خِيفَةٙ مُّوسَـىٰ .20:67٦٧

  • Thereupon, seeing such remarkable performance of illusory trick, Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] felt little disturbed within, secretively - without allowing it reflected by face expressions [about success]. [20:67]

قُلْنَا لَا تَخَفْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡأَعْلَـىٰ .20:68٦٨

  • Our Majesty told him, "You should not apprehend - feel concerned; indeed you, yes you are the superior - victorious. [20:68]

وَأَ لْقِ مَا فِـى يَمِينِكَ تَلْقَفْ مَا صَنَعُوٓا۟ۖ

  • And you throw on ground that which is in your right hand; it will swallow what they have artistically arranged and organized.

إِنَّمَا صَنَعُوا۟ كَيْدُ سَٟحِـرٛۖ

  • Indeed what they have artistically arranged and organized is merely deceptive technique of illusionist

وَلَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلسَّاحِرُ حَيْثُ أَتَـىٰ .20:69٦٩

  • And never the illusionist arrives - retains perpetual success - fruitfulness from whatever angle and side he comes [since illusion is always of temporary nature]" [20:69]

فَأُلْقِىَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدٙا

  • Upon seeing the thrown stick becoming living Cobra that swallowed their ropes and sticks, the illusionists reflexively and affectionately went into prostration publicly

قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ هَٟرُونَ وَمُوسَـىٰ .20:70٧٠

  • They said, "We have believed in the Sustainer Lord of Mūsā and Haroon [alai'him'slaam]". [20:70]


قَالَ ءَامَنتُـمْ لَهُۥ قَبْلَ أَنْ ءَاذَنَ لَـكُـمْۚ

  • He (Fir'aoun) said reprimanding, "How come you believed for him before I had granted permission for you people

  • ۔اس(فرعون)نے ان شعبدہ بازوں کو مخاطب کر کے کہا"کیا تم اس(موسیٰ علیہ السلام)پر ایمان لے آئے ہو قبل اس کے کہ میں نے تمہارے لئے اجازت کا فرمان دیا؟

إِنَّهُۥ لَـكَبِيـرُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَكُـمُ ٱلسِّحْرَۖ

  • Indeed he is certainly your elder who has taught you the magic

  • ۔حقیقت یہ ہے کہ وہ(موسیٰ علیہ السلام)تم لوگوں کا بڑا بزرگ ہے جس نے تمہیں  جادو کی تعلیم دی ہے۔

Root: س ح ر

فَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُـمْ وَأَرْجُلَـكُـم مِّنْ خِلَٟفٛ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُـمْ فِـى جُذُوعِ ٱلنَّخْلِ

  • Since you have done this without my permission, thereby, I will soon surely detach your hands and feet from opposite sides; and I will surely crucify you people on the trunks of date-palms

  • ۔چونکہ تم لوگوں نے میرے فرمان کے بغیر ایسا کیا ہے،اس لئے میں جلد ہی تمہارے ہاتھوں اور تمہارے پاؤں کو مخالف سمت میں منقطع کر دونگا اورقسمیہ کہتا ہوں کی تمہیں جلد کھجور کے درختوں کے تنوں پر لٹکا کر سزائے موت دونگا۔

Root: ص ل ب; ن خ ل

وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ أَيُّنَآ أَشَدُّ عَذَابٙا وَأَبْقَىٰ .20:71٧١

  • And certainly you people will come to know who of us is more severe in awarding punishment and more lasting." [20:71]

  • اوریقیناً تم لوگ جلد جان جاؤ گے کہ ہم (رب العالمین اورموسیٰ علیہ السلام کو شمار کرتے ہوئے) میں سے کون سزا دینے کے حوالے سے زیادہ سخت ہے اور کس کو زیادہ دوام ہے"۔

قَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْثِرَكَ عَلَـىٰ مَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ ٱلْبَيِّنَـٟتِ وَٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنَاۖ

  • They (the magicians) replied, "We will never care for you over what has come to us from the eternal absolute truths, and from Him the Exalted Who initially created us

  • ۔انہوں(شعبدہ بازوں)نے  فرعون کو مخاطب کر کےجواب دیا"ہمیں نہ تیری پرواہ ہے نہ تجھے ترجیح دیں گے اس پرجو ہمیں علم پہنچ چکا ہے جومتبین عیاں حقیقتوں کا نچوڑ ہے اور ان جناب پر جنہوں نے ہمیں عدم سے وجود پذیر فرمایا۔

Root: ف ط ر;  ء ث ر

فَٱقْضِ مَآ أَنتَ قَاضٛۖ

  • Therefore, instead of shouting threats, you conclude- decide for what ever you are capable to decide.

  • اس لئے بجائے دھمکیاں دینے اور لوگوں پر رعب جھاڑنے کے تو کرگزر جو کچھ تو کرنے کا اپنے آپ کو قابل  سمجھتاہے۔

إِنَّمَا تَقْضِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْحَـيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَآ .20:72٧٢

  • Indeed you can only decide in this life of lowly world. [20:72]

  • حقیقت یہ ہے کہ تو سرف اس دنیا میں کچھ فیصلے کرنے کے قابل ہے۔

إِنَّآ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّنَا لِيَغْفِرَ لَنَا خَطَٟيَٟنَا وَمَآ أَكْرَهْتَنَا عَلَيْـهِ مِنَ ٱلسِّحْرِۗ

  • Indeed we have believed in our Sustainer Lord so that He may forgive for our omissions, and for that what you coerced upon us to perform a particular illusory trick.

  • ۔جان لے،ہم یقینی انداز میں اپنے رب پر ایمان لے آئے ہیں؛ہمیں امید ہے وہ جناب ہمارے لئے ہماری ماضی کی خطاؤں کی پردہ پوشی فرماتے ہوئے معاف کریں گے اور اس سے جو تونے  ہماری کراہت کے باوجود فریب نظر کا شعبدہ کروایا۔

Root: س ح ر; ك ر ه

وَٱللَّهُ خَيْـرٚ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ .20:73٧٣

  • And Allah the Exalted has the Best to bestow and He alone is the Perpetual . [20:73]

  • اور توخبردار رہ؛اللہ تعالیٰ کے قبضہ قدرت میں تمام بھلائی ہے اور دوام صرف ان جناب کو ہے۔

إِنَّهُۥ مَن يَأْتِ رَبَّهُۥ مُجْرِمٙا فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ جَهَنَّـمَ

  • Realize it, Indeed he who comes to his Sustainer Lord as proven guilty - criminal, thereby. indeed Hell-Prison is in wait for him

  • ۔اس حقیقت کو بھی جان لے؛جو کوئی اپنے رب کے پاس مجرم کی حیثیت سے آیا تو اس جرم کی پاداش میں یقیناً جہنم اس کے لئے  مخصوص کردہ جیل ہے۔

لَا يَمُوتُ فِيـهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ .20:74٧٤

  • He will neither die therein and nor would he enjoy life therein. [20:74]

  • ۔وہ وہاں نہ مرے گا اور نہ کبھی جیئے گا۔

وَمَن يَأْتِهِۦ مُؤْمِنٙا قَدْ عَمِلَ ٱلصَّٟلِحَـٟتِ

  • And in contrast, whoever comes to Him the Exalted as believer who had indeed done righteous deeds

  • ۔اور اس کے بر عکس جو کوئی ان(اپنے رب)کے پاس مومن کی حیثیت میں آیا جس نے صالح اعمال کئے تھے۔

فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَـهُـمُ ٱلدَّرَجَٟتُ ٱلْعُلَـىٰ .20:75٧٥

  • Therefore, such are the people - the ranks of exaltation are reserved for them [20:75]

  • ۔ایسے لوگوں کی جزا ہے۔۔بلند درجات ان کا استحقاق ہے۔

Root: د ر ج

جَنَّٟتُ عَدْنٛ تَجْـرِى مِن تَحْتِـهَا ٱلۡأََنْـهَٟرُ خَٟلِدِينَ فِيـهَاۚ

  • Gardens of pleasant abode, streams flowing beneath - side-by them, they will reside therein permanently.

  • ۔خوشگوار باغات ان کے لئے منتظر ہیں جن کے پائیں نہریں بہتی ہیں۔وہ ان میں ہمیشہ قیام پذیر رہیں گے۔

وَذَٟلِكَ جَزَٟٓؤُا۟ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ .20:76٧٦

  • And this is the reward for the one who virtuously elevated himself." [above conjectures, desires/vested interest] [20:76]

  • ۔اور یہ  اس شخص کے لئے ایوارڈ ہے جس نے ازخود اپنی شخصیت کو عروج دیا"۔

Root: ز ك و


وَلَقَدْ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَـىٰ مُوسَـىٰٓ

  • Know the fact, Our Majesty had communicated to Mūsā [alai'his'slaam in Egypt] that

 

أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِى

  • "You travel by night with My subjects

فَٱضْـرِبْ لَـهُـمْ طَرِيقٙا فِـى ٱلْبَحْرِ يَبَسٙا

  • Thereupon, reaching there [and because of chase by enemy-26:52], you strike to emerge a submerged passage in the Gulf of Suez for them. The characteristic of this passage is that it is dried up: skeleton - Fringing reef.

لَّا تَخَٟفُ دَرَكٙا وَلَا تَخْشَىٰ .20:77٧٧

  • You will not have fear of being overtaken, nor you will dread." [20:77]

فَأَتْبَعَهُـمْ فِرْعَوْنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ

  • Encouraged by having seen them safely crossed over to other side on floating dried bridge, Fir'aoun/Pharaoh followed their footsteps along with his troops

فَغَشِيَـهُـم مِّنَ ٱلْيَـمِّ مَا غَشِيَـهُـمْ .20:78٧٨

  • Thereby, [for reason of collapse of bridge by resonance effect of soldiers walk] that from within the sea overarched them which submerged them in the Gulf of Suez; [20:78]

وَأَضَلَّ فِرْعَوْنُ قَوْمَهُۥ وَمَا هَدَىٰ .20:79٧٩

  • Realize it, Fir'aoun/Pharaoh made his nation neglectful/strayed, and did not guide them aright. [20:79]

يَٟبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٟٓءِيلَ

  • They were reminded: "O you the posterity of Iesraa'eel!

قَدْ أَنجَيْنَٟكُـم مِّنْ عَدُوِّكُمْ

  • Our Majesty has deliveredrescued you in the recent past from your enemy

وَوَٟعَدْنَـٰكُـمْ جَانِبَ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلۡأَيْمَنَ

  • And Our Majesty have committed you people the right side of At-Tur: Mountain Range of Sinai

وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُـمُ ٱلْمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلْوَىٰ .20:80٨٠

  • And Our Majesty have intermittently sent upon you people fully prepared meal "al-Munna and As-salwa": excellent food. [20:80]

كُلُوا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٟتِ مَا رَزَقْنَـٟكُـمْ

  • You people eat the permissible - liquefiable and respectively beneficial and nutrient food which Our Majesty have given to you as sustenance.

وَلَا تَطْغَوْا۟ فِيهِ فَيَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُـمْ غَضَبِىۖ

  • And you should not brim out - transgress in the granted sustenance; matter; otherwise it will become incumbent against you My taking criminal cognizance - seizing you.

وَمَن يَحْلِلْ عَلَيْهِ غَضَبِى فَقَدْ هَوَىٰ .20:81٨١

  • Be mindful, should My taking criminal cognizance become incumbent upon someone, thereby, he is certainly ruined. [20:81]

وَإِ نِّـى لَغَفَّارٚ لِّمَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٟلِحَٙا ثُـمَّ ٱهْتَدَىٰ .20:82٨٢

  • And indeed I am certainly forgiving for the one who recognized - repented his earlier conduct,  accepted - believed and conducted perfectly; and thereafter diligently remained aright guided". [20:82]

وَمَآ أَعْجَلَكَ عَن قَومِكَ يَٟمُوسَـىٰ .20:83٨٣

  • [When he arrived earlier than the appointed date, he was asked]  "You explain what prompted hasten you to leave your nation, O Mūsā." [20:83]

قَالَ هُـمْ أُو۟لَآءِ عَلَـىٰٓ أَثَرِى

  • He replied, "They have become such people well established in exactly following my way

وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَـرْضَىٰ .20:84٨٤

  • And I hastened towards You the Exalted, my Sustainer Lord, to win appreciation, approval and pleasure of Your Majesty." [20:84]

قَالَ فَإِنَّا قَدْ فَتَنَّا قَوْمَكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِكَ

  • He (Allah the Exalted) told him, "Then know it, Our Majesty have let your nation in liquefying trial

وَأَضَلَّـهُـمُ ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ .20:85٨٥

  • Since Sa'mri has made them neglectfully straying, after you left them." [20:85]

فَرَجَعَ مُوسَـىٰٓ إِلَـىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ غَضْبَٟـنَ أَسِفٙاۚ

  • Afterwards, because of the frustrating information Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] returned to his nation in the grip - heightened feeling of anger and heavy heartedness, feeling disappointed - let down.

قَالَ يَٟقَوْمِ أَ لَمْ يَعِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُـمْ وَعْدٙا حَسَنٙاۚ

  • He (Mūsā alai'his'slaam) questioned them, "O my nation! did your Sustainer Lord not promise you an excellently appropriate promise

أَفَطَالَ عَلَيْكُـمُ ٱلْعَهْدُ

  • Is it for reason that it seemed to you people a long period lapsed for actualization of the commitment

أَمْ أَرَدتُّـمْ أَن يَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُـمْ غَضَبٚ مِّن رَّبِّكُـمْ

  • Or you intended that the cognizance/seizure from your Sustainer Lord becomes incumbent upon you?

فَأَخْلَفْتُـم مَّوْعِدِى .20:86٨٦

  • Thereby, you people altered my proclamation." [20:86]

قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْـكِنَا

  • They (influential people) said: "We did not alter your proclamation by exercising our authority

وَلَـٰكِنَّا حُـمِّلْنَآ أَوْزَارٙا مِّن زِينَةِ ٱلْقَوْمِ فَقَذَفْنَٟهَا

  • But we were entrusted holding the weights comprising of valuables (coins, jewelry, ornaments) of people, which, pursuant to demand we laid them off.

فَكَذَٟلِكَ أَ لْقَى ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ .20:87٨٧

  • This demand was because Sa'mri had suggested it. [20:87]

فَأَخْرَجَ لَـهُـمْ عِجْلٙا جَسَدٙا لَّهُۥ خُوَارٚ

  • Having taken the metallic jewelry, he brought out/crafted for them a calf dummy Bellowing was a feature given for it.

فَقَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَآ إِلَـٰهُكُـمْ وَإِلَـٰهُ مُوسَـىٰ فَنَسِىَ .20:88٨٨

  • Thereupon, they the owners of ornaments said to us, "This (Golden Calf) is the iela'aha: godhead of you people, and the iela'aha: godhead of Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]. However, he has forgotten." [20:88].

أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَ لَّا يَرْجِعُ إِلَيْـهِـمْ قَوْلٙا

  • [They were confronted with evident matter of simple common sense] "Could they not see that it: golden-calf was not turning to them a verbal expression in the manner of speech

وَلَا يَمْلِكُ لَـهُـمْ ضَرّٙا وَلَا نَفْعٙا .20:89٨٩

  • And that neither calf-effigy was holding for them any power - capacity for harming, and nor for benefiting them?" [20:89]

وَلَقَدْ قَالَ لَـهُـمْ هَٟرُونُ مِن قَبْلُ

  • [And as for their other excuse] Know it, certainly Haroon [alai'his'slaam] had earlier told them:

يَٟقَوْمِ إِنَّمَا فُتِنتُـم بِهِۦۖ

  • "O my nation! You are indeed put into liquefying trial by it (crafting of calf-effigy) and their assertion about it

وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُـمُ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنُ

  • And the fact is that the Sustainer Lord of you people is Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted

فَٱتَّبِعُونِـى

  • Therefore, follow me in letter and spirit

وَأَطِيعُوٓا۟ أَمْرِى .20:90٩٠

  • And you people wholeheartedly accept my command." [20:90]

قَالُوا۟ لَن نَّبْـرَحَ عَلَيْهِ عَٟكِفِيـنَ حَتَّىٰ يَرْجِعَ إِلَيْنَا مُوسَـىٰ .20:91٩١

  • They replied, "We will not cease sitting around it until Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] returns to us." [20:91]

قَالَ يَٟهَٟرُونُ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذْ رَأَيْتَـهُـمْ ضَلُّوٓا۟ .20:92٩٢

  • He (Mūsā [alai'his'slaam]) interrogated, "O Haroon! What restrained you when you saw them having been neglectfully strayed- lost in darkness [20:92]

أَ لَّا تَتَّبِعَنِۖ أَفَعَصَيْتَ أَمْرِى .20:93٩٣

  • That it would not be proper for you to physically follow me - stop them from wrong; Was it because you did not accept my word - command?" [20:93]

قَالَ يَبْنَؤُمَّ لَا تَأْخُذْ بِلِحْيَتِى وَلَا بِرَأْسِـىۖ

  • He (Haroon [alai'his'slaam]) said, "O my mother-born! please do not blame me by holding my chin nor my neck

 

إِ نِّـى خَشِيتُ أَن تَقُولَ فَرَّقْتَ بَيْـنَ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٟٓءِيلَ

  • I was just apprehensive that you might allege: "You have created a division amongst Bani Iesraa'eel

وَلَمْ تَرْقُبْ قَوْلِـى .20:94٩٤

  • And you did not wait for my word." [20:94]

قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكَ يَٟسَٟمِرِىُّ .20:95٩٥

  • He (Mūsā alai'his'slaam) interrogated, "In response to their statements, explain what was your cause in desiring that, O Sa'mri?" [20:95]

قَالَ بَصُرْتُ بِمَا لَمْ يَبْصُرُوا۟ بِهِۦ

  • He (Sa'mri) replied, "I observed; that [he is trying to refer to some thing masculine] which they had not observed that

فَقَبَضْتُ قَبْضَةٙ مِّنْ أَثَرِ ٱلرَّسُولِ فَنَبَذْتُـهَا

  • Therefore, I clutched---a holding in hand----from the trace of the Messenger. Thereby, I threw her away.

وَكَذَٟلِكَ سَوَّلَتْ لِـى نَفْسِى .20:96٩٦

  • And it is like that what my mind allured for me." [20:96]

قَالَ فَٱذْهَبْ

  • He (Mūsā alai'his'slaam) said, "Now you go away

فَإِنَّ لَكَ فِـى ٱلْحَـيَوٰةِ أَن تَقُولَ لَا مِسَاسَۖ

  • Henceforth, it is certain that the expression "لا مساس not at all touching" will only be possible for you to articulate during the life-time

       The first reported case of Expressive aphasia

وَإِنَّ لَكَ مَوْعِدٙا لَّن تُخْلَفَهُۥۖ

  • Know it, a threat has made place for you, it is such a threat that might not be letting escape for you.

وَٱنظُرْ إِلَـىٰٓ إِلَـٰهِكَ ٱلَّذِى ظَلْتَ عَلَيْهِ عَاكِفٙاۖ

  • Moreover, look at your iela'aha: godhead, that upon whom you have shaded by sitting around it as devotee

لَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُۥ ثُـمَّ لَنَنسِفَنَّهُۥ فِـى ٱلْيَـمِّ نَسْفٙا .20:97٩٧

  • Of course, we will certainly wear it extensively with file - calcining. Thereafter, we will certainly scatter it in the Gulf as dust - powder." [20:97]

إِنَّمَآ إِلَـٰهُكُـمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ

  • Realize it: The Sovereign Sustainer Lord of you people is Allah the Exalted. He the Exalted is the only Sustainer Lord. None at all in miscellany of iela'aha: deities that are uncritically admired, adorned and worshipped is alive or organizes, administers or sustains others except He the Solitary Sustainer Lord, the Absolute.

وَسِعَ كُلَّ شَـىْءٛ عِلْمٙا .20:98٩٨

  • He the Exalted has the knowledge expanding limitlessly beyond all that is existing in physical realm. [20:98]


كَذَٟلِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنۢبَآءِ مَا قَدْ سَبَقَۚ

  • Likewise, Our Majesty is narrating to you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] the episodes; in event by event manner, some out of the miscellany of instances/news that have passed.

  • ۔اس انداز میں ہم آپ(ﷺ)کو ان خبروں میں سے  جو بیت گیا ہے من و عن وقوع پذیر ہوئے انداز میں سنا رہے ہیں۔

Root: س ب ق

وَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَٟكَ مِن لَّدُنَّا ذِكْرٙا .20:99٩٩

  • The fact remains, Our Majesty have given to you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] a Memoir - biographical narrative (Qur’ān); a grace from Our Majesty. [20:99]

  • ۔اور ہم نے اپنی جناب سے اظہار رحمت کے لئے آپ کو ازل سے ابد تک کا سرگزشت نامہ(قرءان مجید)عنایت فرمایا ہے۔

Root: ل د ن

مَّنْ أَعْـرَضَ عَنْهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَحْـمِلُ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٟمَةِ وِزْرٙا .20:100١٠٠

  • Whoever, having known and seen, turned away from it (Qur’ān), thereby, he will carry the condemnation - weighed down state on the Day of Rising [20:100]

خَٟلِدِينَ فِيهِۖ

  • They will remain in it - weighed down condition permanently

وَسَآءَ لَـهُـمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٟمَةِ حِـمْلٙا .20:101١٠١

  • And it is evil - condemnation for them on the Day of Rising, weighed down. [20:101]

يَوْمَ يُنفَخُ فِـى ٱلصُّورِۚ

  • The Day when [second] sound will be blown in the Trumpet

وَنَحْشُـرُ ٱلْمُجْرِمِيـنَ يَوْمِئِذٛ زُرْقٙا .20:102١٠٢

  • And Our Majesty will gather the convicts - criminals that Day; the eye-balls of these criminals will be in blue or gray state: blinded [20:102]

يَتَخَٟفَتُونَ بَيْنَـهُـمْ إِن لَّبِثْتُـمْ إِلَّا عَشْـرٙا .20:103١٠٣

  • They will be murmuring amongst themselves, "Not you remained in dead state except for ten days". [20:103]

نَّحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ إِذْ يَقُولُ أَمْثَلُـهُـمْ طَرِيقَةٙ إِن لَّبِثْتُـمْ إِلَّا يَوْمٙا .20:104١٠٤

  • Our Majesty know fully what they say murmuring, when says the trailblazer of them, "you remained in dead state but for a day." [20:104]


وَيَـسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلْجِبَالِ

  • And people enquire from you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] about the mountains.

      Mountains - Anchors

فَقُلْ يَنسِفُهَا رَبِّـى نَسْفٙا .20:105١٠٥

  • In response you pronounce, "My Sustainer Lord will blast them, as dust particles. [20:105]

فَيَذَرُهَا قَاعٙا صَفْصَفٙا .20:106١٠٦

  • Then He the Exalted will leave them plains smooth and leveled

لَّا تَرَىٰ فِيـهَا عِوَجٙا وَلَآ أَمْتٙا .20:107١٠٧

  • You will not see - find therein crookedness - variation in alignment and nor curve - uneven surface". [20:107]

يَوْمَئِذٛ يَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلدَّاعِىَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُۥۖ

  • The Day when people would have been revived to life, they will instantly obey the Summoner; not at all defiance - crookedness will be possible for them against him.

وَخَشَعَتِ ٱلۡأَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ

  • And that day the voices would have humbled for [Grandeur and fear of] Ar'Reh'maan

فَلَا تَسْمَعُ إِلَّا هَمْسٙا .20:108١٠٨

  • Therefore, you will not listen voices except faintly. [20:108]

يَوْمَئِذٛ لَّا تَنفَعُ ٱلشَّفَٟعَةُ

  • The Day when people would have been gathered on resurrection, the intercession [recommendation/pleading] shall not benefit

إِلَّا مَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنُ 

  • Barring the intercession of him whom Ar'Reh'maan has granted the permission

وَرَضِىَ لَهُۥ قَوْلٙا .20:109١٠٩

  • And He the Exalted had approved it for him, verbally. [20:109]

يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْـنَ أَيْدِيـهِـمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُـمْ

  • He the Exalted fully knows what is before - in their present and past and what is after - future of them.

وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٙا .20:110١١٠

  • And they people cannot encompass it with certain - conclusive knowledge. [20:110]

وَعَنَتِ ٱلْوُجُوهُ لِلْحَـىِّ ٱلْقَيُّومِۖ

  • And the faces will be humbled for [Grandeur and fear of] the Ever Living, Self Subsisting, the Eternal, The Absolute [Perpetually living; not subject to death. Refer 25:58], the Sustainer and the Organizer of all that exists - the Sovereign Administrator.

وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنْ حَـمَلَ ظُلْمٙا .20:111١١١

  • And indeed he is abased [in the end] whoever carried the burden of wrongdoings - injustices - distortions - fabrication of conjectures. [20:111]

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِنَ ٱلصَّٟلِحَـٟتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٚ

  • And whoever acts and performs deeds of righteous - moderate import, provided he or she is a true believer:

فَلَا يَخَافُ ظُلْمٙا وَلَا هَضْمٙا .20:112١١٢

  • Thereby, they will neither apprehend minutest injustice nor any deprivation. [20:112]

وَكَذَٟلِكَ أَنزَلْنَٟهُ قُرْءَ انٙا عَـرَبِيّٙا

  • Take note; like aforementioned (account of the past, and future) Our Majesty has compositely sent it (Memoir's narrative 20:99; Qur’ān 20:2) in the form of a compilation (titled Qur’ān) having characteristic of text transcription in Arabic: a perspicuous, eloquent, distinctive and precisely expressive language; the language of the sons of soil of Arabian Peninsula.

وَصَرَّفْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلْوَعِيدِ

  • And Our Majesty have revolved - repeated from different angles within its contents certain warning of inevitable harmful upshot

لَعَلَّـهُـمْ يَتَّقُونَ

  • So that they might consider becoming self conscious to endeavour to protect their selves

أَوْ يُحْدِثُ لَـهُـمْ ذِكْرٙا .20:113١١٣

  • Or it (warning) may disclose a new instance for them to take heed. [20:113]

فَتَعَٟلَـى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَلَِكُ ٱلْحَقُّۗ

  • [they conjecture] Thus Allah is Exalted, truly and factually the Sublime Sovereign.

  • ۔یہ سب پر واضح ہے؛اللہ تعالیٰ مطلق عالی مقام ہیں؛مطلق فرمانروا ہیں، مطلق حقیقت ہیں۔

وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِٱلْقُرْءانِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُقْضَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهُۥۖ

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] should not hasten to assimilate the text of Qur’ān before its verbal - oral communication is concluded towards you.

  • ۔اورآپ (ﷺ)اس پیش کردہ قرءان مجید کوزبان سے جلدی جلدی نہ پڑھیں اس سے قبل کہ اس کو زبانی انداز میں مکمل پڑھ کر آپ کوسنا نہیں دیا جاتا۔

Root: ع ج ل

وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِـى عِلْمٙا .20:114١١٤

  • And you pray; "My Sustainer Lord! Do improve me in the faculty of gaining and retrieving knowledge." [20:114]

  • ۔اور آپ(ﷺ)دعا فرمائیں"اے میرے رب!آپ جناب مجھے روزافزوں فرمائیں،علم کے حصول اور ذہن وقلب سے بازیافت کرنے کی صلاحیت کے حوالے سے"۔

وَلَقَدْ عَهِدْنَآ إِلَـىٰٓ ءَادَمَ مِن قَبْلُ

  • To emphasize the importance of said prayer, know that in the remote past Our Majesty had forbore Adam [alai'his'slaam].

  • ۔اس دعا میں مضمر فوائد کو اجاگر کرنے کے لئے اس حقیقت کو جان لیں کہ ہم جناب نے گزرے زمانے میں  ءادم (علیہ السلام)کوپابند عہد کیا تھا۔

Root: ع ھ د

فَنَسِىَ وَلَمْ نَجِدْ لَهُۥ عَزْمٙا .20:115١١٥

  • Subsequent to delusional inspiration by Shai'taan, he-Adam forgot it. However, Our Majesty did not find deliberateness against him in this regard.  [20:115]

  • شیطان کی مسحور کن اور دلفریب باتوں سے اضطراری کیفیت میں وہ اس عہد پابندی کو بھول گئے۔لیکن یہ واضح رہے کہ ہم جناب نے ایسا کرنے کے لئے ارادہ اور عزم موجود نہیں پایا تھا۔

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَـٟٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِءَادَمَ

  • Know the history, when Our Majesty had issued command for the Angles, "You people pay obeisance for Aa'dam".

  • اور(ان ملائکہ کے رویہ کے متعلق) وقت کے اُس لمحے کی تاریخ بھی جان لو جب ہم جناب نے ملائکہ سے کہا تھا’’ آدم کیلئے تم سب سرنگوں ہو جاؤ؍ تعظیم بجا لاؤ‘‘ ۔

فَسَجَدُوٓا۟

  • Thereat, they paid obeisance to him.

  • بسبب، تعمیل حکم میں ملائکہ(آدم علیہ السلام کے وجود پذیر ہونے پر) سرنگوں ہو گئے تھے؍تعظیم بجا لائے تھے۔

إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ

  • However, Ieb'lees (in response to the command given to him) did not pay obeisance

  • مگر ابلیس نے اُسے الگ سے دئیے گئے حکم کی تعمیل میں سجدہ تعظیم بجا لانے سے اپنے آپ کوباز رکھا تھا۔

أَبَـىٰ .20:116١١٦

  • He (Ieb'lees) demurred, considered it not worthy of his dignity and ego. [20:116]
  • اُس ( ابلیس )نے اس بات کو اپنے شایان شان نہیں سمجھا۔اپنے وقاراور خودداری کے منافی سمجھا۔

فَقُلْنَا يَـٰٓــَٔادَمُ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا عَدُوّٚ لَّكَ وَلِزَوْجِكَ

  • Therefore, Our Majesty had told him; "O Aa'dam! Mind it; Ib'lees is certainly enemy for you and your wife

  • ۔چونکہ ابلیس اپنی مخاصمت کا اظہار اور اس پر قائم رہنے کی قسم اٹھا چکا تھااور اسے مہلت دے دی گئی تھی اس لئے ہم جناب نے واضح بتا دیا"اے آدم؛اس حقیقت کو ذہن نشین کر لیں،یہ (ابلیس)آپ اور آپ کی بیوی کا اعلانیہ دشمن ہے۔

فَلَا يُخْرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ فَتَشْقَىٰٓ .20:117١١٧

  • Thereby be cautious that he might not cause exit of you both from the Paradise. In that case, you Aa'dam, might have to effort and struggle for acquiring facilities you are enjoying here. [20:117]

  • ۔اس لئے محتاط رہنا کہ کہیں یہ آپ دونوں کو مستقبل میں جنت میں سے نکلوانے کا باعث بن جائے۔اگر ایسا ہوا تو اس کے نتیجے میں آپ، اے آدم۔مشقت میں پڑ جائیں گے۔

إِنَّ لَكَ أَ لَّا تَجُوعَ فِيـهَا وَلَا تَعْـرَىٰ .20:118١١٨

  • Certainly the possibility that you face not hunger therein is vouchsafed for you. Neither is there the possibility of problem of clothing - nudity. [20:118]

  • ۔یہ حقیقت ہے کہ اِس میں ایساانتظام ہے کہ آپ کے لئے نہ بھوک کا امکان ہے اور نہ عدم دستیابی لباس /عریاں ہونے کا؛

Root: ع ر ى

وَأَنَّكَ لَا تَظْمَؤُا۟ فِيـهَا وَلَا تَضْحَـىٰ .20:119١١٩

  • And that certainly you will neither experience therein problem of thirst - scarcity of drinks, nor will you experience exposure to heat. [20:119]

  • اور یہ کہ نہ تجھے یہاں پیاس اوردھوپ /حدت سے بچنے کا مسئلہ درپیش ہو گا“۔

Root: ض ح و; ظ م ء

فَوَسْوَسَ إِلَيْهِ ٱلشَّيْطَٟنُ

  • Thereby, purposely, Shai'taan [Ieb'lees] subtly relayed a fascinating inspiration towards him (Aa'dam)

  •  بسبب /زیر مقصد شیطان نے ان (آدم علیہ السلام) کے لئےوسوسہ /میٹھا تخیل،مسحور کن اضطراب پیدا کیا،

قَالَ يَـٰٓــَٔادَمُ هَلْ أَدُلُّكَ عَلَـىٰ شَجَرَةِ ٱلْخُلْدِ وَمُلْكٛ لَّا يَبْلَـىٰ .20:120١٢٠

  • He (Shai'taan/Ieb'lees) said, "O Aa'dam! May I lead you to the tree of eternity and to a kingdom that never falls/decays?" [20:120]

  • اس(شیطان) نے کہا”اے آدم!کیا میں آپ کی توجہ دوام دینے والے مادہ درخت پر مبذول کراؤں اور اس بادشاہت پر جسے زوال نہیں آتا؟ (سورۃطہٰ۔ ۱۲۰)

      آدم(علیہ السلام) اور ابلیس               Root: د ل ل  ; ش ج ر

فَأَكَلَا مِنْـهَا فَبَدَتْ لَـهُـمَا سَوْءَٟتُـهُـمَا

  • Having deceptively been made to act, they both ate the fruit from that female-tree, thereat their bodies became naked in each other's view.

  • فریب دئیے جانے پر جب اُن دونوں نے جونہی اُس (مادہ)درخت کے پھل کا ذائقہ چکھ کر کھا لیا تو اُن دونوں کے جسم ایک دوسرے کے لئے عریاں ہو گئے۔

وَطَفِقَا يَخْصِفَانِ عَلَيْـهِـمَا مِن وَرَقِ ٱلْجَنَّةِۚ

  • And [Suffering this trauma they instantly came out of the fascinating trance] they both hastened and kept covering themselves by placing the leaves of the garden upon their bodies.

  • اب ان کی حالت یہ تھی کہ یکایک جنت کے پتوں کواپنے آپ پر اوپر تلے رکھنے میں لگ گئے۔

وَعَصَىٰٓ ءَادَمُ رَبَّهُۥ فَغَوَىٰ .20:121١٢١

  • The fact remains (notwithstanding it was involuntary) that Aa'dam did not stick to the word of his Sustainer Lord. Since he got lured to trap - distraction, he lost the idea of restraint into darkness. [20:121]

  • ۔یہ حقیقت اپنی جگہ ہے کہ  آدم(علیہ السلام چاہے غیر اردای طور پر)اپنے رب  کے فرمان  ممانعت کی تعمیل  نہیں کر سکے تھے۔چونکہ  ابلیس کے پیدا کردہ وسوسے کا شکار ہو گئے تھے اس لئے   اس (ممانعت)کے متعلق  وہ  اندھیرے میں ہو گئے/وہ بات ان کے دھیان سے اوجھل/تاریک ہو گئی۔۔

Root: غ و ى

ثُـمَّ ٱجْتَبَٟهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ وَهَدَىٰ .20:122١٢٢

  • Afterwards, his Sustainer Lord chose him, attended to him and guided him. [20:122]

  • ۔مزید کچھ عرصہ گزر جانے پر بعد ازاں اس واقعہ کے  ان کے رب نے انہیں  مخلِص  بندہ منتخب  فرما کر سرفراز کیا۔اوراظہار ندامت  اور طلب گار معافہ ہونے پران جناب نے معذرت کو قبول کر لیا۔اور انہیں ہدایت فرما دی(کہ حیات خلد اورلازوال حکمرانی پانے کا راست طریقہ کیا ہے)۔ 

قَالَ ٱهْبِطَا مِنْـهَا جَـمِيعَاۢۖ

  • He the Exalted said: "You both go down to Earth, jointly departing from her (Paradise)

  • ان جناب نے کہا’’تم  دونوں (خاوند بیوی)اس میں سے نیچے (زمین پر) اتر جاؤ، اکٹھے۔

Root: ھ ب ط

بَعْضُكُـمْ لِبَعْضٛ عَدُوّٚۖ

  • There some of you people will become enemy - antagonistic for some others

  • وہاں پر )تم لوگوں میں سے بعض بعض کے دشمن ہوں گے۔)

فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُـم مِّنِّى هُدٙى

  • Thereby, having settled and become a society, whenever guidance would have reached to you people, initiated, reiterated and dispatched from Me:

  • اس طرح زمین میں آباد ہونے پرجب تم معاشرہ بن چکے ہوگے  تو   جب جب   ہدایت نامہ تم لوگوں تک پہنچ جائے جس کا آغاز اور اجرا میری جانب سے ہو گا:۔

فَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ هُدَاىَ

  • Thereat, whoever affectionately acted upon My Guidance in letter and spirit in such manner that nothing else influences in between

  • تواُس وقت جنہوں نے میرےہدایت نامہ (کتاب کی آیات )کی   خلوص اور تندہی سے اس انداز میں پیروی کی کہ  اس کےاور اپنی عقل کے مابین کسی اور بات کو حائل نہیں ہونے دیا۔

فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقَىٰ .20:123١٢٣

  • Thereby, having acted on My Guidance neither would he go stray - neglectful - unrewarded nor would he face trouble - difficulty - inconvenience." [20:123]

  • اس انداز میں پیروی سے وہ نہ تو ادھراٗدھر بھٹکے گا اور نہ کسی مشقت کا سامنا کرے گا۔(صورۃ طہ۔123)

وَمَنْ أَعْـرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِى

  • And whoever had purposely abstained adhering My Admonition - Reference Source - Operative Manual for conduct: Book

  • اور جس کسی نے میری  جانب سے بھیجے گئے "ذکر"/نصیحت /دستور عمل سے دانستہ اِعراض برتا

فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ مَعِيشَةٙ ضَنكٙا

  • Thereby, certainly a straitened living - economy will be arranged for him in Hell-prison

  • تو اس کی پاداش میں ناگفتہ بہ معاشیات اس کے لئے جہنم میں میسر ہو گی۔

وَنَحْشُـرُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيٟمَةِ أَعْمَىٰ .20:124١٢٤

  • Take note; We will gather him on the Day of Rising; he will be feeling blind. [20:124]

  • اور ہم جناب اسے یوم قیامت میں اس حال میں اکٹھا کریں گے کہ وہ اپنے آپ کو اندھا محسوس کر رہا ہو گا۔

قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَـرْتَنِىٓ أَعْمَىٰ وَقَدْ كُنتُ بَصِيـرٙا .20:125١٢٥

  • He said, "My Sustainer Lord! Why have you gathered me blind while indeed I was endowed with faculty of vision?." [20:125]

  • وہ کہے گا"میرے رب!آپ نے مجھے کیوں اندھا اٹھایا جب کہ میں صاحب بصر ہوا کرتا تھا"

Root: ع م ى

قَالَ كَذَٟلِكَ أَتَتْكَ ءَايَٟتُنَا فَنَسِيتَـهَاۖ

  • He the Exalted said, "This is because Our Aa'ya'at had come to you whereupon - for reason [obsessed and absorbed in personal/vested interests of worldly life, by design] you forgot those

  • انہوں نے ارشاد فرمایا"ایسا اس وجہ سے ہے کہ ہماری آیات تیرے تک پہنچی تھیں۔بوجوہ تونے انہیں درخور اعتنا نہ سمجھتے ہوئے بھلا دیا۔

وَكَذَٟلِكَ ٱلْيَوْمَ تُنْسَىٰ .20:126١٢٦

  • And like that today you are wilfully discarded." [20:126]

  • اور آج اسی طرح تجھے درخور اعتنا نہ سمجھتے ہوئے بھلایا جا رہا ہے"۔

وَكَذَٟلِكَ نَجْزِى مَنْ أَسْرَفَ وَلَمْ يُؤْمِنۢ بِـٔ​َايَـٟتِ رَبِّهِۦۚ

  • And this is how Our Majesty requite him who transgressed and accepted - believe not in the Aa'ya'ay: Verbal passages of the Book of his Sustainer Lord.

  • متنبہ رہو؛اس انداز میں ہم جناب اس شخص کوسزا کا مستوجب قرار دیتے ہیں جو حدود و قیود سے لاپروہ ہے اور اپنے رب کی آیات پر ایمان نہیں لایا۔

Root: س ر ف

وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡءَاخِـرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبْقَىٰ .20:127١٢٧

  • Take note, the affliction of Hereafter [Hell-Prison] is certainly harsher and persistent. [20:127]

  • اور مطلع رہو کہ آخرت میں دیا جانے والا عذاب یقیناً شدید اور برقرار رہنے والا ہے۔


أَفَلَمْ يَـهْدِ لَـهُـمْ كَمْ أَهْلَـكْنَا قَبْلَـهُـم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِـى مَسَٟكِنِـهِـمْۗ

  • Is it [their transgression and not believing Aa'ya'at] for reason that it has not guided them that many civilizations before them Our Majesty have annihilated, in the residential places of whom they walk around?

إِنَّ فِـى ذَٟلِكَ لَءَايَٟتٛ لِّأُو۟لِـى ٱلنُّـهَـىٰ .20:128١٢٨

  • Indeed signs - pointers are manifest in foretasted fact reflecting the Divine Providence and Will evidently for the people of intellect and wisdom. [20:128]

  • یقینا ان  عناصر فطرت کے عینی مشاہدہ میں  ایسی شہادتیں ہیں   جوفلسفہ توحید (معبود مطلق)کی جانب رہنمائی /اشارہ کرنے والی ہیں  خاص کر ان لوگوں کے لئے جوجذبات سے منزہ رہتے ہوئے حقیقت اور مقصد ِشئے کو سمجھنے کی صلاحیت رکھنےوالے ہیں۔

وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٚ سَبَقَتْ مِن رَّبِّكَ

  • And had the Word from your Sustainer Lord not been decreed - passed

لَـكَانَ لِزَامٙا

  • Certainly that [similar result] would have been encountered

وَأَجَلٚ مُّسَمّٙى .20:129١٢٩

  • And had the duration not been appointed by a determined - appointed moment of termination [20:129]

فَٱصْبِـرْ عَلَـىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ

  • Therefore, remain coolly perseverant upon what they say - slander

وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ غُـرُوبِـهَاۖ

  • And express glory with praises of your Sustainer Lord before the Sun rise and before her setting

وَمِنْ ءَانَآىءِ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْ وَأَطْرَافَ ٱلنَّـهَارِ لَعَلَّكَ تَرْضَىٰ .20:130١٣٠

  • And during hours of the night of long duration, if not sleeping then state repetitively praises; and at the extremities - time zones of the Day so that you feel comfortable - heart satisfied. [20:130]

وَلَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَيْنَيْكَ إِلَـىٰ مَا مَتَّعْنَا بِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٟجٙا مِّنْـهُـمْ

  • Take note, you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] should not henceforth lay your eyes - afford preferential attention for those groups of them: polytheists whom Our Majesty have given to enjoy with:

زَهْرَةَ ٱلْحَـيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا لِنَفْتِنَـهُـمْ فِيهِۚ

  • Flowery splendor of the life of lowly world. The objective is that We might subject them to trial in it: the splendorous life.

وَرِزْقُ رَبِّكَ خَيْـرٚ وَأَبْقَىٰ .20:131١٣١

  • Let it be known that the sustenance of your Sustainer Lord is the best and ever lasting. [20:131]

وَأْمُرْ أَهْلَكَ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱصْطَبِـرْ عَلَيْـهَاۖ

  • And you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] imperatively advise your household - wives, and co-residents - servants of house to regularly perform Ass-sa'laat: Time bound protocol of servitude and allegiance and remain perseverant upon establishing it.

لَا نَسْـَٔلُكَ رِزْقٙاۖ

  • Our Majesty do not ask you [to be worried and pursue] for sustenance

نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُكَۗ

  • We feed you the sustenance.

وَٱلْعَٟقِبَةُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ .20:132١٣٢

  • And let it be known, the ultimate accomplishment is for the endeavor remaining cautious, heedful, and mindful and avoidance of unrestrained conduct. [20:132]


وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا يَأْتِينَا بِـٔ​َايَةٛ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦٓۚ

  • And they (non-believing Meccans) said to their people, "Why is it that he does not bring to us a supportive evidence of unprecedented display - sign [in common parlance miracle] from his Sustainer Lord?"

  • ۔رسول کریم اور قرءان مجید کاانکار کرنے والے عمائدین کا استدلال جان لو،انہوں نے لوگوں سے  کہا"کیا وجہ ہے کیوں وہ (رسول کریم)  عینی مشاہدہ کرانے کے لئے  ایسی شہادت(آیت/معجزہ) کے ساتھ ہمارے پاس نہیں آتا جو اس  کے رب  کی جانب سے  تصور،تجربہ، سائنسی توجیح سے ماورائے اِدراک  ہوتے ہوئے  سند ہوتی  جیسی پہلے رسولوں      نے دکھائی تھیں؟"   

أَوَلَمْ تَأْتِـهِـم بَيِّنَةُ مَا فِـى ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَـىٰ .20:133١٣٣

  • Why they propagate this, has not that explicit evidence become true for them which was mentioned in the papyri of earlier period (News disclosed by Easa alahissalam of arrival of Arabian Messenger) ? [20:133]

  • ۔(وہ کیوں لوگوں کے لئے الجھاؤ پید کرنے کی کوشش کرتے ہیں)کیا ان کے پاس اس  ٹھوس شہادت کا عینی ظہور نہیں ہو گیا جو گزرے زمانہ کے مخصوص کاغذوں میں درج تھی(عیسیٰ علیہ السلام کاعربی رسول کی آمد کا قول)۔

Root: ص ح ف

وَلَوْ أَنَّـآ أَهْلَـكْنَٟهُـم بِعَذَابٛ مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ

  • And had Our Majesty annihilated them with punishment before his arrival

  • ۔مگر اگر ہم جناب نے انہیں عذاب دے کر نیست و نابود کردیا ہوتا ان(رسول کریم)کے مبعوث ہونے سے قبل کے دور میں:

لَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَوْلَآ أَرْسَلْتَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولٙا

  • Certainly they would have argued - raised a point [of sustainable natured objection], "Our Sustainer Lord! why did not You send towards us the Messenger mentioned and described in ealier papers

  • ۔تو انہوں نے عذاب دیکھ لینے پر یقیناً کہا ہوتا"ہمارے رب!آپ نے کیوں ہماری جانب ان رسول کو  نہیں بھیجا جن کا تذکرہ پرانے کاغذوں میں موجود تھا 

فَنَتَّبِــعَ ءَايَٟتِكَ مِن قَبْلِ أَن نَّذِلَّ وَنَخْزَىٰ .20:134١٣٤

  • Thereat we would have followed Your Aa'ya'at: Verbal passages of Divine Book before we were humbled and put to shame?" [20:134]

  • ۔جن کے آنے پر ہم نے آپ کے کلام پر مشتمل آیات کی خلوص دل سے اتباع کی ہوتی،قبل اس کے ہم اس سے منحرف ہوتے اور رسوائی سے خوار ہوتے"۔

Root: ذ ل ل

قُلْ كُلّٚ مُّتَـرَبِّصٚ فَـتَـرَبَّصُوا۟ۖ

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] pronounce, "Each one is waiting, therefore, you people wait [for that moment]

  • آپ(ﷺ)ان طلبگاران معجزہ کی بات کے جواب میں ارشاد فرما دیں"ہر کوئی توقعات لگائے بیٹھا ہے۔اس لئے تم لوگ بھی توقع لگائے بیٹھے رہو۔

Root: ر ب ص

فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَصْحَـٟـبُ ٱلصِّرَٟطِ ٱلسَّوِىِّ وَمَنِ ٱهْتَدَىٰ .20:135١٣٥

  • Whereby you people will soon know who are companions of the even course and who has guided himself aright. [20:135]

  • نتائج جلد سامنے آ جائیں گے جس پر تم جان لو گے کہ کون لوگ اللہ تعالیٰ کے بتائے ہوئے ہموار راستے پر گامزن سفر ہیں، اور اس کو جس نے اپنے آپ کو ہدایت یافتہ بنا لیا ہے"

021- سُوۡرَةُ الانبياء


ٱقْتَـرَبَ لِلنَّاسِ حِسَابُـهُـمْ وَهُـمْ فِـى غَفْلَةٛ مُّعْـرِضُونَ .21:01١

  • The subjection to their accountability has come nearer in time for the people. Despite its nearing, they are deliberately overlooking - disregarding it preferring to remain in state of neglectfulness. [21:01]

  • ۔ان کے حساب اور احتساب کے وقت نے لوگوں کے قریب تر کر لیا ہے،مگر اس کے باوجود لوگ غفلت میں ڈوبے اس سے اعراض برت رہے ہیں۔

Root: غ ف ل

مَا يَأْتِيـهِـم مِّن ذِكْرٛ مِّن رَّبِّـهِـم مُّحْدَثٛ إِلَّا ٱسْتَمَعُوهُ وَهُـمْ يَلْعَبُونَ .21:02٢

  • They do not listen except hearing in a playful mood whatever warning - information comes to their notice anew quoted from the Memoir- Admonishment (Qur’ān) received from their Sustainer Lord. [21:02]

  • ۔ان کے پاس جب  کوئی بھی نوشت کائنات (قرءان مجید) میں درج تنبیہ ،جو ان کے رب کی جانب سے آسان فہم تدوین میں خبر رساں ہے، کا تذکرہ کیا جاتا ہے وہ اسے سوائے اس انداز کے نہیں سنتے کہ اس دوران بھی  مزاح کا رویہ رکھتے ہیں۔

Root: ل ع ب

لَاهِيَةٙ قُلُوبُـهُـمْۖ

  • Their hearts are distracted and preoccupied in other trifle matters and thoughts.

  • ۔ان کے قلوب اس دوران چھوٹے چھوٹے معاملات اور افکار میں مگن ہوتے ہیں(جو بات سمجھنے میں مانع ہے)۔

Root: ل ھ و

وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّجْوَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ هَلْ هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا بَشَـرٚ مِّثْلُـكُـمْۖ

  • And those who wronged- distorted the facts kept their whispers to people secret: "Is this man but a human like you people?

  • ۔اور وہ عمائدین/سرکردہ لوگ جنہوں نے  حقیقت کے منافی باطل رویئے کو اپنی سرشت بنا لیا ہے اپنی لوگوں سے الگ میں سرگوشیوں میں کی ہوئی بات کو دوسروں سے چھپایا ہے:"تصدیق کرو،کیا یہ شخص محض تم لوگوں جیسا ایک عام بشر نہیں ہے؟

Root: س ر ر

أَفَتَأْتُونَ ٱلسِّحْرَ وَأَنتُـمْ تُبْصِرُونَ .21:03٣

  • Is it then for lack of noticing this point that you come to the illusion while you people have the faculty of vision." [21:03]

  • کیا تم اسے عام بشر مان لینے کے بعد بھی وہم اور فریب نظر کا شکار ہوتے ہو حالانکہ تم لوگ تو بصارت و بصیرت والے ہو"۔

Root: س ح ر

قَالَ رَبِّـى يَعْلَمُ ٱلْقَوْلَ فِـى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرْضِۖ

  • He (the Messenger) said, "My Sustainer Lord fully knows the utterance - statement [whether made loudly or whisperingly] made in the Sky and the Earth

  • ۔انہوں(رسول کریم)نے ارشاد فرمایا"میرے رب  ہر اس بیان کو جانتے ہیں جو آسمان اور زمین میں جب اور کہیں بھی کہا جاتا ہے۔

وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيـمُ .21:04٤

  • Remain aware, He the Exalted is eternally the Listener, the All-Knowing." [21:04]

  •  ان جناب کےمتعلق یہ حقیقت ہے، ہر لمحہ ہر آواز کو سننے والے ہیں، منبع علم ہیں"۔

بَلْ قَالُوٓا۟ أَضْغَٟثُ أَحْلَٟمِۭ

  • Negating their statement of similarity they said to their audience: " In fact what he is stating are but muddled dreams

  • ۔انہوں نے مثل بشر والی بات کی نفی کرتے ہوئے لوگوں سے کہا"وہ جو بیان کر رہا ہے درحقیقت گڈ مڈ الجھے ہوئے خوابوں کا مجموعہ ہے۔

Root: ح ل م;  ض غ ث

بَلِ ٱفْتَـرَىٰهُ

  • No, these are not muddled dreams, actually he has at his own diligently fabricated it- Qur’ān

  • ۔نہیں،شاہد ایسا نہیں ہے،بلکہ درحقیقت اس (محمّد ﷺٗ)نے اپنے مقاصد کے لئے محنت اور لگن سے اس(قرءان)کو  ازخوداختراع کیا ہے۔

بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِـرٚ

  • No, not that, actually he (Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam) is a Poet

  • ۔نہیں،شاہد یہ بات بھی نہیں،وہ ایک شاعر ہے۔

فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِـٔ​َايَةٛ كَمَآ أُرْسِلَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ .21:05٥

  • Thereby, if he is a Messenger he should come to us along with a miracle- unprecedented demonstrative sign in the like manner as the earlier Messengers were sent." [21:05]

  • ۔لیکن اگر وہ واقعی اللہ کا رسول ہے تو پھر ضرور  ہمارے پاس   عینی مشاہدہ کرانے کے لئے  ایسی شہادت(آیت/معجزہ) کے ساتھ  آئے  جو اس  کے رب  کی جانب سے  تصور،تجربہ، سائنسی توجیح سے ماورائے اِدراک  ہوتے ہوئے  سند ہو  جیسے پہلے والے تمام رسولوں کو لوگوں کے پاس بھیجا گیا تھا؟"   

مَآ ءَامَنَتْ قَبْلَـهُـم مِّن قَرْيَةٛ أَهْلَـكْنَٟهَآۖ

  • (Be aware of their gimmicks) The people before them of habitats whom We annihilated did not believe even having seen the signs sent to them

  • جان لو؛ ان  سے قبل کے ادوار میں کوئی بستی بھی جسے ہم نے نیست و نابود کر دیا تھا عینی شہادتیں دیکھنے کے باوجود ایمان نہیں لائی تھی۔

أَفَهُـمْ يُؤْمِنُونَ .21:06٦

  • Would they in such instance believe [if sign brought to them]. [21:06]

  • ۔تو کیا یہ لوگ ایسا ہو جانے پر ایمان لے آئیں گے؟

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ إِلَّا رِجَالٙا نُّوحِـىٓ إِلَيْـهِـمْۖ

  • People may know the history; Our Majesty did not send in timeline before you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] spokespersons except men whom Our Majesty used to verbally communicate.

  • اور تاریخی حقیقت یہ ہے کہ آپ(ﷺ)سے قبل بھی  ہم نےصرف مردوں کو قوموں کی جانب بحثیت رسول بھیجا،ہم انہیں بذریعہ کلام پیغام دیتے تھے۔

فَاسْـَٔلُوٓا۟ أَهْلَ ٱلذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُـمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ .21:07٧

  • Since you people keep talking about coming of Angels, therefore, you people ask them who were/are given the Memoir/Reference Book - whose history is being mentioned, if you people do not have the information about it. [21:07]

  • ۔چونکہ تم لوگ ملائکہ کے آنے کی باتیں کرتے ہو تو اس حقیقت کے متعلق ان سے پوچھ لو جن کی تاریخ بیان ہو رہی ہے اگر تم لوگوں کے پاس اس بارے معلومات نہیں ہیں۔

وَمَا جَعَلْنَٟهُـمْ جَسَدٙا لَّا يَأْكُلُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ

  • Moreover, another fact about those Messengers of foretimes is that Our Majesty had not assigned them exceptional body of characteristic that they did not keep eating food/meals.

  • اور نہ ہی ہم جناب نے ان(انبیاء علیہم السلام)کے جسد کو اس طرح ڈھالا تھا کہ وہ ٱلطَّعَامَ نوش نہیں فرماتے تھے۔

وَمَا كَانُوا۟۟ خَٟلِدِينَ .21:08٨

  • Nor they lived indefinitely. [21:08]

  • (اور نہ وہ  غیر معینہ مدت کے لئے حیات رہے۔(الانبیاء۔۸

ثُـمَّ صَدَقْنَٟهُـمُ ٱلْوَعْدَ فَأَنجَيْـنَٟهُـمْ وَمَن نَّشَآءُ

  • Afterwards, Our Majesty proved - fulfilled Our promise to them whereby We rescued them - all Messengers before you [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam, to safe places from non believers and life threats] and those whom We willed

  • ۔بعد ازاں مہلت کا وقت ختم ہونے پر ہم جناب نے انہیں ان سے کئے وعدہ کو سچ کر دکھایا۔عذاب آبے سے قبل حسب وعدہ ہم جناب نے انہیں(رسولوں)بحفاطت دوسرے مقام پر منتقل کر دیا اور ان کے ساتھ ان کو جن کے متعلق ہم نے یہ فیصلہ کیا۔

وَأَهْلَـكْنَا ٱلْمُسْـرفِيـنَ .21:09٩

  • And Our Majesty annihilated the transgressors. [21:09]

  • ۔اورہم جناب نے حدود و قیود کو پامال اور اغماض برتنے والوں کو نیست و نابود کر دیا۔

لَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ إِلَيْكُـمْ كِتَٟبٙا فِيهِ ذِكْرُكُمْۖ

  • Know the certain fact, Our Majesty have sent towards you people the Book (Grand Qur’ān). The peculiar feature of this Book is that the Narrative - Story of you people is detailed therein

  • اس حقیقت کو جان لو؛ہم جناب نے تم لوگو ںکی جانب مجتمع انداز میں کتاب کو نازل کر/پہنچا دیا ہے۔اس کتاب میں خاص بات یہ ہے کہ تم لوگوں کی سوانح /تمہارا اپنا ذکر اس کے مندرجات میں موجود ہے۔

أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ .21:10١٠

  • Would you still, after finding yourself mentioned therein, not reflect rationally? [21:10]

  • کیا باوجود اپنے متعلق ذکر کو جان کر بھی عقل و فکر سے کام نہیں لو گے۔


وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٛ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةٙ

  • Realize it, Our Majesty have shattered many a civilizations - habitats; she were characteristically unjust

وَأَنشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْمٙا ءَاخَرِينَ .21:11١١

  • And after them Our Majesty raised into power another nation. [21:11]

فَلَمَّآ أَحَسُّوا۟ بَأْسَنَآ إِذَا هُـم مِّنْـهَا يَرْكُضُونَ .21:12١٢

  • Sequel to passing of respite period when they suddenly perceived the catastrophe displayed by Our Majesty, thereat, they were fleeing panic-struck from it.  [21:12]

لَا تَرْكُضُوا۟ وَٱرْجِعُوٓا۟ إِلَـىٰ مَآ أُتْرِفْتُـمْ فِيهِ وَمَسَٟكِنِكُـمْ لَعَلَّـكُـمْ تُسْـٔ​َـلُونَ .21:13١٣

  • [they were asked] "You people need not run away and return to luxury you were absorbed in and to your abodes so that you may be questioned." [21:13]

قَالُوا۟ يَٟوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٟلِمِيـنَ .21:14١٤

  • They said, "Woe is for us, indeed we were wrong-doers and unjust." [21:14]

فَمَا زَالَت تِلْكَ دَعْوَىٰـهُـمْ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَٟهُـمْ حَصِيدٙا خَٟمِدِينَ .21:15١٥

  • Thereupon their such sobbing did not cease until Our Majesty rendered them mown, quenched silent ashes. [21:15]

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلۡأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَـهُـمَا لَـٰعِبِيـنَ .21:16١٦

  • Realize it, Our Majesty have not created the Sky and the Earth and all that exists between these two, enacting it in the state of those who indulge in recreation and pastime activities. [21:16]

لَوْ أَرَدْنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ لَـهْوٙا لَّٱتَّخَذْنَـٰـهُ مِن لَّدُنَّـآ إِن كُنَّا فَٟعِلِيـنَ .21:17١٧

  • Had it been Our Majesty pursuit - desire that We might adopt a pastime-play, We would have adopted it from Our own presence - domain, if We were to act in that pursuit. [21:17]

بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِٱلْحَقِّ عَلَـى ٱلْبَٟطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٚ

  • No, what they say [21:05] is not correct, the fact remains that Our Majesty hurl with proven Fact - Reality-Profitable and substantive substance of permanence upon the [بَاطِل] conjectural scum- fabricated stories and myths [like filmy layer of extraneous matter or impurities that rises up on the surface of a liquid; dross or refuse from molten metal which becomes visible on surface] whereupon the substantive fact smashes its brain [effect], thereby, it becomes vanishing- dilapidating - bubbles away.

وَلَـكُـمُ ٱلْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ .21:10١٨

  • And eventually the woe - remorse  is the upshot for you people for what you people conjecture, fabricate falsehood, negatively attribute. [21:18]

وَلَهُۥ مَن فِـى ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتِ وَٱلۡأَرْضِۚ

  • Take note, whoever exists in the Skies and the Earth are the subjects for Him the Exalted

وَمَنْ عِندَهُۥ لَا يَسْتَكْبِـرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِۦ

  • And as for those who are near Him the Exaltedthey never arrogantly turn away severing allegiance, servitude and subjection for Him the Exalted

وَلَا يَسْتَحْسِـرُونَ .21:19١٩

  • And nor they feel fatigued in performing demonstrative allegiance - servitude [21:19]

يُسَبِّحُونَ ٱلَّيلَ وَٱلنَّـهَارَ لَا يَفْتُـرُونَ .21:20٢٠

  • They endeavor with repetitive praises during the night and the day seeking approval and appreciation, they never slacken. [21:20]

أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ ءَالِـهَةٙ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرْضِ هُـمْ يُنشِـرُونَ .21:21٢١

  • Or have they adopted various iela'aha: godheads - idols sculpted with materials drawn from the Earth? They spread them. [21:21]

لَوْ كَانَ فِيـهِـمَآ ءَالِـهَةٌ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَاۚ

  • Had there been, except Allah the Exalted, a multiple number of iela'aha: godheads - sustainer lords within both of them- the Sky and the Earth would have certainly become in state of chaos and disorder.

فَسُبْحَٟنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ .21:22٢٢

  • Therefore, Infinite Glory is for Allah the ExaltedHis pleasure is the focus of all effort; the Sustainer Lord of the Sovereignty Throne; He is exalted above all what they conjecturally attribute. [21:22]

لَا يُسْـَٔلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُـمْ يُسْـَٔلُونَ .21:23٢٣

  • He the Exalted cannot be questioned about what He does innovatively; and they are subject to accountability.[21:23]

أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِـهَةٙۖ

  • Or have they adopted iela'aha: godheads apart from Him the Exalted?

قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٟنَكُـمْۖ

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] ask them; "Produce your primary evidence - source to substantiate your verbal assertion.

هَـٰذَا ذِكْرُ مَن مَّعِىَ وَذِكْرُ مَن قَبْلِـىۗ

  • This (Grand Qur’ān) is the descriptive narrative of those who are existing as my contemporary, and is the narrative- memoir of those who existed in time and space before me

بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُـمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ

  • But the fact remains that most of them (living in my times) do not intend to learn/understand the Infallible Doctrine - Discourse (Grand Qur’ān)

فَهُـم مُّعْـرِضُونَ .21:24٢٤

  • Thereby, upon having seen the text - listened it, they purposely refrain. [21:24]

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٛ إِلَّا نُوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِ

  • It is a fact that Our Majesty did not send in times before you the Messenger [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] none at all Messenger but Our Majesty did verbally communicate to him:

أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۟ فَٱعْبُدُونِ .21:25٢٥

  • That "None at all in miscellany of iela'aha: deities that are uncritically admired, adorned and worshipped is alive or organizes, administers or sustains others except Me the Solitary Sustainer Lord, the Absolute. [Messenger was advised to ask people] Therefore, you people should be subject -subservient - allegiant to Me alone." [21:25]


وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنُ وَلَـدٙاۗ

  • Take note, They (the Elders-Religious elite of earlier people) said; "Ar'Reh'maan has purposely adopted a son".

سُبْحَٟنَهُۥ

  • He the Exalted is above such needs-support-weakness; Infinite Glory is for Him-His pleasure is the focus of all effort.

بَلْ عِبَادٚ مُّكْـرَمُونَ .21:26٢٦

  • They lie, the fact is that they whom they ascribe as adopted son are sincere allegiant subjects, rendered as honoured and dignified. [21:26]

لَا يَسْبِقُونَهُۥ بِٱلْقَوْلِ وَهُـم بِأَمْرِهِۦ يَعْمَلُونَ .21:27٢٧

  • They do not precede Him the Exalted in saying a word and they act carrying out His command. [21:27]

يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْـنَ أَيْدِيـهِـمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُـمْ

  • He the Exalted fully knows what is before, in their present and past and what is after/future of them.

وَلَا يَشْفَعُونَ إِلَّا لِمَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ

  • And they do not intercede except for him about whom He the Exalted has pleasingly approved.

وَهُـم مِّنْ خَشْيَتِهِۦ مُشْفِقُونَ .21:28٢٨

  • And they stand in awe out of fear of Him the Exalted. [21:28]

وَمَن يَقُلْ مِنْـهُـمْ إِ نِّـىٓ إِلَـٰهٚ مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَذَٟلِكَ نَجْزِيهِ جَهَنَّـمَ

  • Should anyone of them says, "Apart from Him the Exalted, I am also an iela'aha: godhead, then for his crime Our Majesty will requite him Hell-Prison

كَذَٟلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلظَّـٟلِمِيـنَ .21:29٢٩

  • This is how do Our Majesty punish the evil-doers/distorters/creators of imbalances/disorder. [21:29]

  • خبردار رہو؛ہم جناب اس انداز میں حقیقت کے منافی بگاڑ کا رویہ اور طرزعمل اپنانے والوں  کو سزا دیتے ہیں۔

أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَـرُوٓا۟

  • (why they assert illogical statements) Is it that they who refused to accept Qur’ān/reject it as human authorship have not observed - studied

  • (یہ منطق کے صریح منافی باتیں کیوں کرتے ہیں)۔کیا ان  لوگوں نے جنہوں نے قرءان مجید کو کتاب اللہ ماننے سے انکار کر دیا ہے  یہ کہہ کر کے ان (ﷺ)کی تصنیف ہے یہ نہیں دیکھا اور غور کیا :

:تحلیل نحوی و صرفی:تحلیل ۔تشریح معنوی و مفہوم،بلاغت

أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَٟوَٟتِ وَٱلۡأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقٙا فَفَتَقْنَٟهُـمَاۖ

  • That the Skies and the Earth were once in a sewn state - united leaving no aperture as if she were a single unit. Thereby, since the intent was to make the under creation universe operational, Our Majesty disjointed both rendering them individuated.

  • ۔کہ ایک زمانہ تھا جب  آسمانوں اور زمین کی حالت یہ تھی یہ آپس میں  اس انداز میں  متصل پیوست تھے  جیسےعدم شگاف کے باعث ایک یکجا اکائی ہوں۔چونکہ  کائنات   کے تخلیقی مراحل کو تکمیل کی جانب لے جانا تھا ہم جناب نے ان دونوں کو  ایک دوسرے سے جدا جدا اکائی کے انداز میں الگ کر دیا۔

    Origin of the Universe  Root: ر ت ق; ف ت ق

وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَـىْءٛ حَـىّٛۖ

  • Be informed, Our Majesty have rendered a segment of the water as essential element of each and all entities that have qualitative distinction of life.

  • اور ہم جناب نے پانی میں سےلیے ایک جزو کوہرزندہ شئے کا جزولاینفک بنا دیا

انسان اول دن سے انسان ہے، بشر کی تخلیق کے لئے خام مال کا بیان

Root: ش ى ء

أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ .21:30٣٠

  • Will they not believe in this disclosure since they have already rejected Qur’ān? [21:30]

  • ۔کیا اس بات کو بھی وہ نہیں مانیں گے چونکہ انہوں نے قرءان کا انکار کر دیا ہے؟۔

وَجَعَلْنَا فِـى ٱلۡأَرْضِ رَوَٟسِـىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِـهِـمْ

  • And Our Majesty have rendered the pegged mountains as anchors, the intent was that she might not oscillate along with them

    Mountains - Anchors

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيـهَا فِجَاجٙا سُبُلٙا

  • And We have rendered therein broad paths- passages for travel

لَّعَلَّـهُـمْ يَـهْتَدُونَ .21:31٣١

  • So that they people may guide their selves to desired destination. [21:31]

وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ سَقْفٙا مَّحْفُوظٙاۖ

  • And Our Majesty have rendered the Sky a well guarded safe canopy.

وَهُـمْ عَنْ ءَايَٟتِـهَا مُعْـرِضُونَ .21:32٣٢

  • However, they are avoiders of pointers-cues reflected by these existents.  [21:32]

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّـهَارَ وَٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَـرَۖ

  • Realize it, He the Exalted is the Only Who has created the Night and the Day, and the Sun and the Moon

كُلّٚ فِـى فَلَكٛ يَسْبَحُونَ .21:33٣٣

  • Each one of them is in the state of swimming in a curved - girl's breast-shaped course - orbit. [21:33]

وَمَا جَعَلْنَا لِبَشَـرٛ مِّن قَبْلِكَ ٱلْخُلْدَۖ

  • Let it be publicly known, Our Majesty did not render perpetual living for a man [including Messengers 21:08] who existed in times before you the Messenger [Muhammad Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam].

أَفَإِي۟ن مِّتَّ فَهُـمُ ٱلۡخَـٰلِدُونَ .21:34٣٤

  • Is it then if you the Messenger would have died natural death: would they people be living perpetually - for indefinite period? [21:34]

كُلُّ نَفْسٛ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِۗ

  • Every person present on the last Day will be the taster of the natural death.

وَنَبْلُوكُم بِٱلشَّـرِّ وَٱلْخَيْـرِ فِتْنَةٙۖ

  • Take note, Our Majesty will certainly subject you people to a test for exposure of your true worth - purity percentage through irritating odd circumstances: like something of disturbance, feel of insecurity, fear and economic recession and some loss in wealth, property, worldly material and personal lives and crops/fruit yields [2:155] and with affluence and comforts in the manner metals are liquefied for purity check and for purification from admixture.

وَإِلَيْنَا تُـرْجَعُونَ .21:35٣٥

  • And you people will be presented before Our Majesty for accountability [on day of Resurrection]. [21:35]

وَإِذَا رَءَاكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَـرُوٓا۟ إِن يَتَّخِذُونَكَ إِلَّا هُـزُوٙا

  • Know it, they the elite/chieftains of society, who have deliberately refused to accept, take- refer you the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] but non seriously mocking

أَهَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى يَذْكُرُ ءَالِـهَتَكُـمْ

  • Asking people: "Is this the one who mentions about various iela'aha: godheads of you people?"

وَهُـم بِذِكْرِ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنِ هُـمْ كَٟفِرُونَ .21:36٣٦

  • They behave as such while they themselves are the rejecters of the Reminder (Grand Qur’ān) revealed by Ar'Reh'maan the Exalted. [21:36]

خُلِقَ ٱلْإِنسَٟنُ مِنْ عَجَلٛۚ

  • The man has become mingled- molded - confounded - perplexed - distracted - bereft with haste.

سَأُو۟رِيكُـمْ ءَايَٟتِى فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونِ .21:37٣٧

  • I will henceforth keep showing you people My symbols - pointers of knowledge, therefore, you people do not ask Me hastening it. [21:37]

وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ

  • And they say: "Tell us the date, time, period when this promise of Last Day will be fulfilled?

إِن كُنتُـمْ صَٟدِقِيـنَ .21:38٣٨

  • Tell us if you people were truthful in asserting resurrection?" [21:38]

لَوْ يَعْلَمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَـرُوا۟ حِيـنَ لَا يَكُفُّونَ عَن وُجُوهِهِـمُ ٱلنَّارَ وَلَا عَن ظُهُورِهِـمْ

  • [they would not have asked it] Were they, who have refused to accept- believe, know the time when they will not be able to remove away the scorching heat from their faces-front nor from their backs

وَلَا هُـمْ يُنصَرُونَ .21:39٣٩

  • Mind it that they will never ever get help from anyone who could help.  [21:39]

بَلْ تَأْتِيـهِـم بَغْتَةٙ فَتَبْـهَتُـهُـمْ

  • Nay, the fact is that it will come all of a sudden to them whereby it will bewilder them

فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ رَدَّهَا

  • Thereat they will not be capable to repel her

وَلَا هُـمْ يُنظَرُونَ .21:40٤٠

  • And nor they will have a moment of relief- reprieve- suspension of punishment. [21:40]

وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُـهْزِىَٔ بِرُسُلٛ مِّن قَبْلِكَ

  • Know the past; the Messengers deputed to nations in timeline before you the Messenger were indeed taken non seriously jestingly

فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْـهُـم مَّا كَانُوا۟۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَـهْزِءُونَ .21:41٤١

  • Thereby those of them who scorned; that hemmed them by which they were amusingly joking. [21:41]

قُلْ مَن يَكْلَؤُكُم بِٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّـهَارِ مِنَ ٱلرَّحْـمَـٰنِۗ

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] ask, "Who is he who can protect you during the night and the day from Ar'Reh'maan, the Exalted?" [None protects but Ar'Reh'maan]

بَلْ هُـمْ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّـهِـم مُّعْـرِضُونَ .21:42٤٢

  • None, the fact is that they having seen-listened, aversively refrain from the Reminder (Qur’ān) revealed by their Sustainer Lord. [21:42]

أَمْ لَـهُـمْ ءَالِـهَةٚ تَمْنَعُهُـم مِّن دُونِنَاۚ

  • Or, various iela'aha: godheads have been created for them who hinder them away from Our Majesty?

لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَ أَنفُسِهِـمْ وَلَا هُـم مِّنَّا يُصْحَبُونَ .21:43٤٣

  • These (hypothetical godheads) have not the capability to help their selves and nor can they protect them from Our Majesty. [21:43]

بَلْ مَتَّعْنَا هَٟٓـؤُلَآءِ وَءَابَآءَهُـمْ حَتَّىٰ طَالَ عَلَيْـهِـمُ ٱلْعُمُـرُۗ

  • Nay, the actual cause is worldly vested interest, Our Majesty have granted these people the affluence-worldly resources and to their forefathers until the life-span has become longer for them.

أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّا نَأْتِـى ٱلۡأَرْضَ نَنقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَآ

  • Do they people notice not Our Majesty overpowering the Earth while Our Majesty is gradually reducing her from her extremities/edges?

    History of the Earth

أَفَهُـمُ ٱلْغَٟلِبُونَ .21:44٤٤

  • Can they still think they can be dominants? [21:44]

قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أُنذِرُكُم بِٱلْوَحْـىِۚ

  • You the Messenger [Sal'lallaa'hoalaih'wa'salam] pronounce, "I am cautioning you people only with the verbally communicated Words of Allah the Exalted." [in the Book-Grand Qur’ān-18:27]

وَلَا يَسْمَعُ ٱلصُّمُّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا مَا يُنذَرُونَ .21:45٤٥

  • But fact remains, the deaf do not listen the call when they are admonished/cautioned. [21:45]

وَلَئِن مَّسَّتْـهُـمْ نَفْحَةٚ مِّنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ

  • Know it, If a whiff touched them emerging out of the affliction of your Sustainer Lord:

لَيَقُولُنَّ يَٟويْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٟلِمِيـنَ .21:46٤٦

  • They would certainly say, "Woe is for us, indeed we were wrong-doers/unjust." [21:46]

وَنَضَعُ ٱلْمَوَٟزِينَ ٱلْقِسْطَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٟمَةِ

  • And Our Majesty will lay down the Scales of adjudging - evaluation - appreciation - weighing - Equitythe same Weighing Scale: Books of Allah revealed in timeline, for the Day of Rising

فَلَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٚ شَيْــٔٙاۖ

  • Whereby, no person shall be treated unjustly even minutely.

وَإِن كَانَ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٛ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٛ أَتَيْنَا بِـهَاۗ

  • And if there were an act worth a grain-seed of a mustard plant, Our Majesty would bring it to limelight.

وَكَفَىٰ بِنَا حَٟسِبِيـنَ .21:47٤٧

  • And Our Majesty is the Administrator of Accountability and Justice. [21:47]

وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا مُوسَـىٰ وَهَٟرُونَ

  • Know it; Our Majesty had indeed given to Mūsā [alai'his'slaam] and Haroon [alai'his'slaam] the Criterion-delineator of right and wrong, fact and conjecture (to adjudge between people)
